The best results for myself, at least that I found, were ashen skeleton lord bounties between speed and efficiency. Folks would leave me alone thanks to the volcanoes, and most of the skeleton lords are really close by with how small the region is. I personally wouldn't recommend an ashen lord bounty, every time I tried to do one I frequently found myself getting snuck up on while dealing with the boss battle. It's why I avoid those personally as a solo player, too much attention taken from the horizon while also having a giant loot piñata sign over my head. Maybe as a duo those wouldn't be so bad, but you'd have to have whoever is on ship paying proper attention.
For the OOS, i've seen recently a video about resetting ashen medleys voyages in the roar between devil's thirst and ashen reaches, maybe this is also a viable option ?
If that was the MixelPlx video, then I have already tried that method. Don't do it, especially if you are solo. The loot is not worth it and I bet he edited out the parts where he had to save the ship from volcanos 20 times. The Roar is the bestworst area ever. If you feel like hating yourself, then go for it.
@@dasgericht7347 That's true. Tbh the only benefit is nobody bothering you. But the volcanos, quakes, and boiling water just makes me spend like 10 minutes making sure my ship doesn't sink.
@@DRSmith-fz4qp The loot is for almost every Mission better. Thats the whole deal. Harder PVE for more money and Reputation. Thats all. Everybody that is saying the DR is to hard or they cant proberly play in that area are most of the time just inpatient or just new to the game.

For ashen lord everyone go to island and spam thrown knives while standing near the ammo box. You can wipe these very quickly
yeah throwing knifes do about the same amount of damage as sword lunging
