There is a setting in the game where in you have to HOLD the space button to get out of the pilot seat. This is not available in the co-pilot or passenger seat tho.

This vid’s a fun time capsule of PTFS in its relative infancy. No airline names, no remodelled aircraft, 2D cockpits, GR’s original ATC tower, the ‘plane’ item needing to be equipped before flight, I wish I’d joined PTFS sooner to experience this more cartoony look than the more modern cartoon-realism hybrid we have today.

0:39 I hate it when someone becomes ATC and you request takeoff but they say “Takeoff granted” without telling you the runway you should taxi to.
One time I was taxing to runway 36R at GR but then the ATC says “36L” right when I was on the runway. Ugh.
I immediately took off from Runway 36R just to show the ATC how awful they were and they were like “Hey I told you to takeoff from 36L come back” or something like that, it was SO annoying.
Another time: one time I spawned near the Cargo End of GR but still in the passenger part of GR Terminal and so I taxied to Runway 18L. I REQUESTED the ATC if I can and they said yes. However ONCE I TAXIED THERE THEY SAID “Wrong side of the runway” AND I GOT PISSED.
I took off, almost ramming into some idiots who taxied when they didn’t request to takeoff (I’m that guy who likes to be realistic and if I collide with someone I’d just imagine that I can’t fly the plane anymore).
Anyways everyone who plays PTFS is just there to show off their “skills”. Or as I like to call, “awful flying”.
Fun fact: in player 34: The callsign to the plane they mentioned.Was JetW flight 3760 from his Roblox film “Passout”

I once was flying a 737 as copilot. The captain told me to land the plane. I buttered it, and he said "wow so smooth". Then some people came to that plane as passengers. One guy kept spamming "I can butter". I did the entire flight as a pilot and he kept spamming "give me control" and "you can't butter". I buttered and he said "ew bad landing " and I immediately kicked him from the plane and reported him. Funny experience lol
I only play that game for the flying, waiting like 20 minutes for an atc is honestly something im not for, i takeoff immediately only because i want to get streight to the flying, i can definitely land and take off just fine, but i prefer to go straight to the flying, i dont use airliner jets, bit of a fighter jet kinda guy

Hey Wes, what do you use to record your videos? I've been trying to make an aviation/gaming themed channel, but all of my videos have horrible resolution. I think I really need something that records better than the Roblox recording thing. Aside from that, I think you make very fun-to-watch videos and keep up the good work!
I use OBS studio, it is free and works fairly well

My first plane in this game was the A-10 and by an absolute miracle I somehow managed to takeoff in under 10 minutes
And as someone who plays ATC alot, it's always the emergency landers that crash into the terminals 💀

I do Diagonal Approaches all the time, I have buttered like 4 of them, and I bought the blue angels so every time its night I stunt fly and only like 2 ppl watch, *usually just the A.T.C who is sick and tired of it every s I n g l e time.*

Once I was in a Black Hawk and a airliner landed on the carrier. After that it SUCCESSFULLY took off agin and a different airliner landed and I was like wtf and a dream flyer or something landed (forgot name). I was just hovering the whole time above the carrier

@@fsxaviator3866 what about that time someone threatened a plane with a bomb? Or when there was a double bird strike that forced an emergency landing where the port undercarriage collapsed and the rear end sustained damage, and then the whole plane was scrapped?
In reality, mobile players can’t even play the game because it keeps kicking you out because of free model viruses or something.
I found out that it’s actually the plane models and the graphics that make it crash, if you have a very small server (1-5 people) it won’t kick you.
