It's still used for some things like clarifying meaning of words in official documents, deciding children names by combining meaning and sound or, like in the cover, as a "shorthand" writing (because one Hanja character can pack the meaning of a whole word writen in Hangul)

It's Park Jimin's vocals for me...
One of my favs. It's when I found out Jin could really sing and belt out notes. "No way, No way, No way!!!" To think Jin never sang before BTS! Even though the others singing voices are exceptional, Jin's voice is my favorite. His velvety voice touches my soul, my heart, my mind, and my body. He could sing on Broadway. You have heard Jin's OST, "Yours" ? It's his best vocal work ever. I do want more jazz songs from BTS. V dropped a few bars the other day of a song he is working on... pure gorgeous soulful tones that will melt you!! This song melts me! It's my fav song of theirs! This song could be developed into a complete melodic movie score and movie that I would love to watch. The mood and emotion it emits suggests an amazing dramatic song. Maybe I will write the screenplay!!!

House OF Cards is such an iconic and amazing song as I have never skipped it on my spotify list.
This song is the type of song that i would imagine being in a drama or film like 50 Shades.
The vocal line have such amazing and powerful vocals, that make you feel the emotion in your heart and you can just hear the emotion in their voices when they sing.
Jimin’s, Jin’s, Jungkook’s and Vs vocals go really well with eachother and they each bring something different yet suttle to the song.
So basically in my opinion this song House Of Cards is such a mood and a bop which makes me feel a certain way (if you know what i mean).
Also this song has was way of being sensual yet dark and mysterious at the same time.
Also the backing vocals makes this song feel even more intense and you can really feel the song and the melody of it right in your heart.
Also the live performance blew me away so much as just seeing their faces full of emotion made the song ten times better.
Also this song has to be one if not the most beautiful and majestic songs by BTS.
Also i dont know what its called but i love Jungkooks ‘dobidobidoo’ bit half way through the song as you can really hear the emotion behind it as Kookie’s voice is just so beautiful for this type of song.
Also i love the way they always put Jimin and Jungkook together to sing certain parts as their voices match perfectly with each other and sound amazing together.
Also i love Jimin’s voice in this song as its just so beautiful and majestic and i could talk about his voice all day (as he is my ultimate bias).
Also i could listen to the vocal line all day everyday and never get tired of hearing their voices, its like in this song they are serenading me and making me fall for them even more than i can.
I just love the vocal line so much and talk all day about how and what they make me feel but i have to keep it PG here.
Also i can understand you saying you are literally melting in your seat right now cause i melt everytime i listen to this song, this is just how the vocal line makes us armys feel all the time.
I also love Jimin’s and Jungkook’s highnote aswell and i love how they slow it down then getting more passionate and same i live this song song much i cant explain how this song makes me feel in words.

This is my absolute favorite vocal line song. They sung with such passion and we get to hear the range of all their voices. Even Jimin had some lower notes towards the end. The harmonizations and ad libs were fabulous!
Hey, love you guys......I'm a 71 year old music lover from the south side of Chicago, or as we say Chirack. Being a Beatle Baby from the 60's and have always followed the trends in music I fell in love with these kids, ..grown men now, way back from their beginning. In the Dope era on MTV K POP station in California while dog sitting for my sister. To watch the progression these past years has been quite a ride. BTS is a unique group of special talent that will stand out for years to come, and I've enjoyed every minute. Keep up the good work. Your insight and appreciation of BTS is very enjoyable. ps if you enjoy this performance I suggest LET ME KNOW live in concert is right up there with this one.

You were lucky to have discovered them so early...for myself it's only been since May2019/Stephen Colbert's Late Show appearance...their homage to the Beatle's debut on Ed Sullivan...I was instantly intrigued by their talent and personalities...WOW...!! They have been my 'happy pill' ever since...! Hope you are staying well and 'warm' in ChiTown...beautiful city I was lucky enough to live in back in mid1970's for a few years...worked for Carson Pirie Scott downtown...great memories...!

Not only do I live in Cali and lived in Chicago for a few years, but was a fan girl of Motown, the Beatles and Michael Jackson. So happy that I found BTS and can enjoy their great musical talent and performances! Was lucky enough to experience their concert at Sofi last year-so great!
Hi Janice! I’m 57 and absolutely love BTS as well. What an incredible, talented, hard-working bunch of young men. I actually flew from Pennsylvania to LA to attend their concert on December 1st… worth every single penny I spent to make that trip happen!

'BTS LET ME KNOW live' is a masterpiece and really emphasises not only their amazing talent, but the emotional investment they demonstrate in their performances. Jimin's high note at the end is one for the ages!
Dope Senior, 77 here. Once I learned that V played the saxophone, I began looking for jazz notes. OMG Hearing the Ron Carter-like rolling bass in this song is amazing. His playlist is heavily laden with jazz greats. Side note: Apparently, the 70 + demographic is alive and well!

Please react to Lie the lyric video or stage mix! It shows such a different side of Jimin than you're used to. I'm sure you'd appreciate the composition, lyrics and choreography as well, everything combines in such a cohesive manner. It's one of BTS' most musically interesting songs and Jimin wrote, composed and co-produced it.

@@abbiem7773 I completely disagree about the stage mix performances! I LOVE them!!! You get to see the different outfits, hair colors and styles, some times there are fan chants and a more lively army, etc. Stage mixes give us so much more than just one version ever could. 😁💜

The one of the many thing I like about us the ARMY is the respect for the BTS. Since it was an intense song, you could notice there was a pin drop silence. We ARMY always cheering them, chanting, having fun but during this song I noticed the feel and vibe was different and all I could see was lighting from army bombs…This is ARMY and BTS…BTS forever…BORAHE 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
I think that has to do with Japanese audiences in general, they usually show respect for songs by being quiet, more so if it's a ballad. It shows they are listening and all their attention is on the artist

I'm not talking about the rest of the world either I'm just pointing out how Japanese audiences respond to ballads. All of them are!! and FUN FACT : before this performance, they were dancing so hard and got out of breath but still gave us those VOCALS!! they're amazing....beside "The truth untold" (vocal line) I really recommend "Your eyes tell" and "Crystal snow"

They drag every ounce of emotion out of themselves in this masterpiece. When it starts to build after the scat section it sends tingles up my spine.
This is one of those songs I can listen to over and over and over again. Even when reactors, like you, interrupt it over and over again. Doesn't take away (lack of words) anything. This particular performance is my all time favorite and is what I experience when I listen to the recording.

The best vocal line song for me. I listen to this over and over, and have ever since I found it about a year ago. It's so darkly sensual, love the R&B/Jazzy feel, they all killed it, the harmonies are amazing, they are so passionate. I always recommend it to everyone because even if you aren't a BTS fan, this is an amazing masterpiece of a song.

This was the most beautiful song. The voices were so soothing to me I was crying bcas I felt the lyrics. I am having struggles with anxiety 😥 I was overwhelmed and with emotions bcas I was single mother of three. God and my children kept me from going in a dark space. Life got really bad that I thought I would break from reality. MJ ,Marvin Gaye would have love this song. I pray for protection over u guys especially for JK bcas this got to b overwhelming for him at such a young age in the music industry. My man Doll Jimini. I have no words to say abt Jimini. He is in a class by himself. He has style, grace and his vocals r off the chart. Sexy beautiful Jimini. I heard it the first Jk and Jimini was the only one single.
