Eh, I like, no I love them both but our current anthem is about our strength and dedication, where as this one is about our blessings and virtues. So I can see why "The Star-Spangled Banner" was chosen and is still our national anthem. Do you want other countries when they hear the song most associated with our country to think about how good of a place we have got (and they don't), or how dedicated we are to and capable of protecting it from any who would do it (and by extension us) harm.
@@jlk461 what my music teacher pointed out to me today, the tune to the star spangled banner was a German bar song, so I kind of feel like it should be something like this that is a bit more serious, I will say though, the story behind the star spangled banner is a lot better
It's why the world is in such turmoil, spilling over with hate from sea to shining sea, growing to be a world coalition. Sure in Its day pilgrims who only thought themselves to exist and reap the benefits of the newly stolen land from its natives. Boldly arrogant sleeping in their comfortable beds, because they recited some words while kneeling that gave them confidence to justify greed of encroachment murders. While telling all existing countries not only was their gods entirely some form of a devil, but their belief in it was any less of a fake than the fake they were praying to. And to too it off, the so called christians had molded the made up gods originally made up in the middle East. The story wasn't even meant for others. It was centralized around waring countries vying for attention to try and be the center of it all. One thing it's plainly obvious, they didn't stray far from their hate of each other, nor any reasons to justify cold senseless murders of surrounding populations just outside of imaginary lines drawn in the sand separating them all.

Beautiful rendition, Selah! Thank you for taking the time to record this in our currently twisted and hurting condition as a nation. We need all the help we can get right now, to be reminded of where our strength and blessings lie. Inclusion and understanding and fortitude are how we got to this point, but without leadership, we're floundering and going backwards. Remembering, however, that the strength in the arrow is dependent upon the drawing back of the bow. God willing, we will get through this - listening better to each other with open hearts and minds. The time is NOW to make better choices in leadership and how we treat one another.
