I'm still not used to seeing Rostam out of the band, his influence in it was maybe what I loved the most :(

I was really impressed by how the band handled it... one guy leaves don’t try to just replace him use it as a chance to change and evolve out of respect for that one persons impact. There was never going to be a “new” roster... how many bands over the years have gotten that wrong??

Yup. In this interview: czcams.com/video/d_OR-ZBhp9w/video.html Ezra talks about how they tried to make Hannah Hunt work many times before Modern Vampires, and had recorded it before, but to no avail. Its an old song written before Vampire Weekend was a band if I remember correctly.
