Riding the DC Metro Cherry Blossom Train | WMATA Red Line

🌸 I managed to ride one of this year’s cherry blossom trains as seen in a previous video below. This is car 6157, married to car 6156 featured in both that video AND the Yellow Line video. I’d have ridden that car again for the hell of it, had I realized.
This was en route to a MARC Penn Line train to BWI Airport, for a flight to Manchester on a Southwest Airlines Boeing 737 MAX 8. Featured are Virginia Railway Express (VRE) trains to Fredericksburg and Manassas, as well as a MARC Brunswick Line train to Frederick. I also spotted an Amtrak Avelia Liberty train for Acela that I hope to cover soon.
