- Aaaaaand we're back! Sorry for the long hiatus, I was tied up for a few months producing and directing Tesla's global Autopilot video and a couple other things. Now it's go time again!
I recently picked up a donor BMW 2800 E9 that was blasted that came with a ton of parts, including sheet metal, full interior, chrome and more!
Your car is going to look awesome once it is done, a t the prices of new cars, you got a classic, plus spare parts👍👍👍👍👍👌👌👌👌👌
Glad to see you back at it again !
Still cant wait to see the finished product
+Bill y Thank you sir! Same here!
such a win getting that donor stuff!
Really really was. Have a fun update to share soon too :)
Finally! Please don't ever go on hiatus like that again. I panicked that you stopped the series!
+Guyii Good to be back! I'll do my best not to, Tesla required my full attention but next time if it is I'll let everyone know :)
+Alexander Marshall I can't wait to see more. This series you started really motivates me to engage my father and restore our e9. Absolutely beautiful piece of German engineering.
+Guyii I really hope you do! They're amazing cars to just be around but they are heart breakers, everything seems fine on the outside until you reveal what lurks beneath!
Just watch it Alexander, so you can grab a lot of things for your e9 this is excellent. I observed that the roof of the donor body was a sunroof unit, could be interesting if you can put that on your restoration, congrats and hope to see more future episodes
+guerraji it is indeed, both e9's are in fact! If I had the right rig, I'd just cut off the entire roof with the pillars for my e9 but I'm worried about warping.
This will help keep me motivated on fixing the rusty floor pans in my 68 2002. Passenger rear is almost done, only three more to floors to go! Are you going to try to do the welding yourself or have it done professionally?
+Mat R Stay motivated my friend, it's worth it in the end. A little bit of both, I'm fortunate to have some very close friends that are extremely talented welders, they'll be teaching me, on the more simple welds, while they do the tricky stuff. I refuse to do a shotty job on any part of this build!
Great! Waiting for next video
You're living my dream. Would love it if you posted up how much you're paying for everything!
+Andrew Bui I could do an episode of costs if people are interested! I'll probably do it!
WOOOOOOOOO

Emailed!
Glad you're back! :D

Hi Vanessa, still need some parts?
HELL YEAH!
Ffs dude I was ready to give up on these vids! Thank god it's back!
+Andrew Liebner Glad you didn't and thanks for sticking around, many more to come!
lost another 3.0 Goddam.
+Bimer catracho unfortunately yea, it's a 2800 if it makes you feel any better. I was evaluating which to save but the donor is just too far gone :(
Cool man , I wish I could find a 3.0 csl for 600 like you.i bought my e30 325is for $500 so who knows.
+Bimer catracho It's tough, and only getting tougher, I got lucky on both finds. I paid more for this one, but got about 10 times the car so it worked in my favour
+Alexander Marshall ,cool wish you luck with your project mind got out of hand really quick.
