That's why it's important to have the proper vacuum to manage all of that dust buildup in carpets around your home. Now there are a ton of different vacuums out there to handle that tough carpet, dirt and stains. But today we're going to be breaking down a list of some of our favorites and going through the benefits and features of each to see which might be right for you in your particular situation. Now, as always, I will leave links to each of these products in the description below. So feel free to check them out there and do a little bit of your own research if you'd like. Also, if I happen to find any discounts, deals or coupon codes, I'll drop those down below for you as well. So first up, we have the best Upright Vacuum for carpets, and that's going to be the Dyson ball animal to now this is a corded model that rolls on a large ball like wheel. And this makes it more maneuverable in tight cluttered areas. It also has really great performance on carpets is really great at tackling things like pet hair, or general dirt like sand. This one is also really great if you do have allergies because it does have an allergen trapping heppa filter. Also another great feature here it does have a semi handheld mode, which you can use any of its tools and brushes with which include things like a turbo brush for dislodging dirt, and also a crevice tool for getting into narrow areas. Now just note that this one may not feel very sturdy in your hand. And it can be tricky to attach some of the tools and brushes, but it packs a ton under the hood and is a fantastic vacuum. Again, if you are somebody with pets, tons of carpets, or even if you have area rugs that you find get dirty often this could be a great option for your household. Next up we have the best stick slash Handheld Vacuum for carpets. And that's going to be the shark rocket pet Pro. Now this is a portable cordless model and has a very good overall performance on carpet. It's also really effective against pet hair. And it also has that allergen trapping heppa filter. Now one of the real benefits here as you can use it in handheld configuration, which is really great for cleaning things like stairs, hard to reach places or even your car's interior. This one also comes with a few tools and brushes to use. This includes things like an upholstery tool and a crevice tool. Now one great feature here is it's very maneuverable, it has a rotating head that helps it maneuver around obstacles. Also, it does have a bagless design and washable filters. So there's virtually no recurring cost here, which keeps the overall cost of your vacuum low. Just note that for this one, though, it is a very powerful vacuum. The battery does only last...ran out of the 5k characters limit, sorry guys.

I love the C3 Alize! I have severe back problems and this is perfect. It is very lightweight, I can carry it around easily. The suction is awesome, the attachments are all useful. I can even vacuum my sheepskin thick deep fur easily. Just as great on hardwood, perfect for stairs. This is the perfect vacuum for the disabled at an affordable price.

I got this from my parents for Christmas. I used to have the Shark vacuum. Long story short, after having my Shark for 2 years, it has lost suction like no other. I wanted this one because I read the reviews for it and we have a cat and a dog that both shed. I vacuumed my home Monday morning with my Shark. Now, with little effort, I vacuumed today with my new Bissell PowerForce Helix. There was SO much dirt and gunk I got up just vacuuming my living room. I am definitely pleased with this vacuum.

Was surprised how much dog hair and dust my Shark Rocket Pet Pro picked up. We have mostly hardwood floors with a few medium-length carpets and we have been very happy with it.

The New Dyson Ball Animal 2 is better than my old one. A tad bit more expensive but worth the money because it is easy to get parts and replace old ones. It does an excellent job of picking up dirt. I particularly love the head attachment for cleaning stairs as it now has rotating brushes.

The Bissell PowerForce Helix is lightweight with excellent suction! I had a Dyson many years ago and missed it.....until this arrived! I would never trade this in for anything and it is under $100! How can you go wrong? If you are in the market for a new vacuum get this one. You will not be disappointed.

It was time to replace my old Roomba and the S9 was an amazing upgrade. If you are familiar with the Neato D7, this Roomba combines the Neato D shape with all of Roomba top-of-the-line cleaning abilities. My Neato D7 had a lot of navigation issues when my pets moved around and would get stuck in between chair legs. The Roomba 960 bin had to be constantly emptied and this new model has a wonderful base that COMPLETELY solved these problems! I have it running every single day since I got it.

If you can afford it, the Roomba S9 makes your life easy. The mapping feature is a great plus. Adding keep-out areas adds improved control.

I got tired of buying cheaper vacuums and having to replace them every few years so I bought my first Dyson Ball Animal a long time ago. That one lasted 10 years. It would have lasted longer if not for an unfortunate incident involving gravity and a very sudden stop. You can buy cheaper vacuums for sure, but none that will last as long or do such an awesome job.

I have an old Miele S8. Can I use its power brush attachment with the C3 Alize?
Nope. Unfortunately, the C3 lacks a compatible outlet for the power brush attachment. How often do you need to replace the filters on Bissell PowerForce Helix?
Hello there! Great question! The filter on the vacuum is washable so you will not have to replace it right away. Will the Roomba S9 work well on hardwood floors?

bought the Miele Complete C3 Alize for my daughter and son-in-law for Christmas. That one is nice for hard surfaces. recommend buying the larger hard floor attachment, if you do not have a lot of rugs/carpets. Very quiet, light, stands upright to go down the stairs, and the light helps you see what is hiding under the bed.

Does the Shark Rocket Pet Pro come with extra batteries?
Good question! Unfortunately, that vacuum does not come with extra batteries. You will have to buy them separately. Each battery gives you up to 40 minutes of extra cleaning time (standard mode).
