I'm the consummate creature of habit, just like most people. Jocko is right, discipline equals freedom. It brings me comfort. Having a beard doesn't mean you're not disciplined, however. I see many Subaru drivers and roller bladers with clean shaven faces. They typically wear flannel, listen to Sarah McLaughlin and think shitting on the sidewalk is a civil right.
Being clean shaven and maintaining a high and tight is not just about conformity. The reason we must keep these standards is too stop the spread of disease. It is so much easier to follow the advice of people that actually practice what they preach. Being a proper example is invaluable!

As I agree but knowing it's right thing to do but not listening because the person who said it wasn't leading by an example is just an excuse.
@@demijoker4160 Absolutely! But many people simply are like that... most people even and it is therefore good for a leader to practice accordingly
Discipline and routine can help us avoid stressing about what might happen, but equally reduces the temptation of doing things we regret later

Cadre - (noun) a small group of people specially trained for a particular purpose or profession.
Example - "a small cadre of scientists"
Cadre comes from Latin, then French. It means “square”, “frame”
