    Damn, I've broken many of those push pins and never find out how to work them properly. Thanks for that. Awesome video as usual.

    It's great that you actually take the time to give it adequate number of paint coats so it is more durable when pebbles and rocks hit it out on the road! Sometimes I notice that inexpensive parts that have paint ONLY HAVE ONE COAT! Just graze them with anything like your motorcycle key and there's a scratch in an instant!

    I think that the "Z" and "900" would look cooler if they matched your bike color. But, that's just my preference.

    Hey, I noticed you have the stock horn... Does it sound barely noticeable beep beep or is it loud so as to really get attention on the road? I replaced mine, silly beep beep sound, with a combo 410Hz/510Hz snail horns put together back -to-back with double sided tape and then secured with strong black gorilla tape. I had to create my own installation mount bracket but no biggie for a customizer like me. The sound is really ear catching now! No more beep beep.

      @@SimpleSimon So, after I performed more extensive testing these horns have a minor problem. If you mount them near anything that gets too hot on the motorcycle the loud sound is lost. After looking into the design of the horns it appears that there is a diaphragm material inside them that changes consistency when they get hot. I will have to work on finding a non-hot zone for these horns because the loud sound does a real good job. I noticed the problem after I let the engine reach normal operating temperatures. The existing horn mount on the motorcycle is very close to the radiator!!! Definitely generates tremendous amount of heat. So, I will try again to mount the horns in a much "cooler" zone! I'll let you know how it goes.

    Those things should go with bike already … I bought extra protection …
    Now I need to buy extra clips and foam stickers for installation of the part … never ending story

  • @Movieman1965
    @Movieman1965 Před 3 lety

    Hahahaha! The guard I bought is all flat black. I will be painting the letters and numbers to match the bike color. I have a 2019 Kawasaki RED Z400. SO it should look really nice when I'm done! Almost every part we buy usually could use a custom paint or mod! The life of a customizer never ends! It's in our DNA!

    Simply loose the radiator and lower it about 10cm so you can install the guard without taking any plastic off...

      Nah. You customize the part with paint and make it pop! Everything we buy doesn't have to stay exactly as purchased. Creativity and good color schemes can make anything look pretty awesome!
