    Omg so I did lash laundry and put the lashes in alcohol. Let them soak for a few mins. And took a spooly and cleaned the glue off. I let them sit for maybe 2 hours to dry. And when I came back all the bottom of the lashes had white from the paper towel I put them on! Ugh! How do u prevent this from happening? R u not supposed to let it dry on a paper towel? When I put the lashes on, that’s when I realized it and had to go over it with a black liner

    • @makeupart78
      @makeupart78  Před 5 lety +2

      What percentage did you use? Was it the first time you tried to clean, or had u cleaned them before? How long had you worn them for? All these things are factors on how the cleaning will go.
      I find the 90-95% percent works better. Also remember these lashes were not designed to be re-used. The delicate spine is meant to dissolve eventually after so much fusing. Having said that many of us have found this “hack”, and are able to re use. On average I will loose 1 or 2 with each cleaning. And can get 2 -3 times wear off 1 gossamer. Nothing compares to a new gossamer. So after a couple uses, I mainly use to stack.
      You can also go to Lashify Life on FB and check out other cleaning methods. The one in this video is what most do, and has worked best for me. Hope this helps!

    • @makeupart78
      @makeupart78  Před 4 lety +2

      If you go the website and look under their storage container, you can see it states “easy to Lashify on the go”. So they made these as another option to carry your lashes. A more compact option. You will also not find anywhere on the site, that these can be re-used. It’s something clients came up with.

    I dont think soaking them in 99% alcohol is a good idea. Using 99% is ok but marinating them in alcohol will dry them out and cause them to break and get brittle a lot sooner. Good method, just maybe skip the soaking in alcohol for hours part. Lol
