Helpful, thank you. I wonder if there is some way to keep the contact from getting squished down again after you bend it up.
I'd screw the bulb to the point where it makes solid contact and stop there, but there're fixtures nowadays that use less metal and more aluminum I think which makes that contact soft and get squished easily (design issue in most modern fixtures - cheaply made)
