Glad there was a part 2 to this iceberg, still learned a bunch of new info from the bottom tiers.
The Lego Sam rami Spider-Man license ending and leaving it to mega bloks to do Spider-Man 3 hurts.
Cause I started buying legos around that time and I knew about the Spider-Man sets. Spider-Man 3 was a movie I was dying to see cause I was in love with the second one, having it replayed over and over again on a vhs.
Still remember the shock when I saw Spider-Man 3 sets for mega bloks.
I was so disappointed cause I knew there wasn’t going to be Lego sets and I wouldn’t get to own a Sam rami Spider-Man Lego.
Still hurts til this day man…

My guess is that the Lego Store Opening Minifigure Packs entry refers to some Lego stores that open the packs to allow customers to buy the ones they want.
