Large Acid Job on oil well

This was a large acid job to try and open up additional oil in this zone. This oil responded great to the acid job and ended up doubling oil production for roughly 90 days before tapering down back to about 10% higher production than before the acid job. Over all this oil well acid job was a great success!

watt does the acid do?

The acid cleans out the holes as well as open up “channels” in the formation for oil to flow into wellbore. Considerably more complicated than that but in general description. A lot of testing etc can be done to optimize this process
