  • AI, or artificial intelligence, is causing some concern, especially in the creative spaces.
The music industry is keeping a close eye on how AI may become a threat to real artists.
Udio is the latest artificial intelligence music tool to hit the market. It can capture emotion in synthetic vocals.
Isaac Hayes III, the Manager and Founder of Fanbase, has experimented with Udio and he spoke with Roland Martin about the potential dangers of AI generated music.

Despite warning ourselves about AI and robots, we’re still headed down the path of making it too intelligent for its own good where it outsmarts us and takes over

There are many AI websites that can make entire tracks in any style of music you wish, and it can write entire songs out of any subject you type in and put a singer or rapper on the track, and it all sounds real... And the beauty is, it takes about 10 seconds to do it, I love them. The same thing is now happening to film with AI generated characters.

AI is going to make us less intelligent and stop thinking for ourselves. we already cannot Remember our phone numbers.

I’m creating my own music with AI exactly the way I like it, and I’m having an absolute blast. No longer do I have to swallow the mediocre offerings that studios try to force down our throats or endure the so-called artists of the new generation who can’t sing, play an instrument, or even hit a correct note on a flute. Many of them lack an understanding of music and can't write an interesting or intelligent lyric. They often seem unable to find their way out of a paper bag, acting more like puppets animated by the studios to make a quick buck before being quickly discarded.
Everything has an end, and now it's the time for AI generative music to take the spotlight, whether people like it or not. That's the reality, and I'm cool with that. If you want to continue producing relevant music, you better learn to collaborate with AI. But to be blunt, you’ll have to love music much more than money and fame, because the era of becoming rich off music is over. Now, as it has always been, it's either adapt or die

I've been using AI since 2022 and have been creating my own music that I know I like and want to hear. I rarely listen to anything else. But my songs are things that I'm learning, I just put it to music. Using AI to trade stocks has been the most useful as of yet for me.

Am I the only one that finds it shortsighted to release a video on how A.I. is infringing on the rights of music artist while using an A.I. generator to produce the cover image for said video (as well for some of their recent Trump videos)? You know, the same generators that are fed tons of art into their algorithm without the original artist's consent.

I love AI music, it means the CIA no longer can pump crap in my ears. I am making music with songs that I have in my head, I use my own lyrics and try to prompt the AI to get close to the sound I was looking for 8/10 the sound is even better. It is then for me now to take up Studio production APPs and piano to get precise control. Not one track have I created about depression, the ghetto, the hood, &itches or hoes. Mostly about dancing, love and feeling good.

THE ONLY WAY ARTIST AND RECORD LABLES CAN STOP A.I FROM STEALING THERE VOICE AND MUSIC IS TO TAKE ALL OF YOUR MUSIC OFFLINE. WE HAVE TO GO BACK TO RECORD STORES SELLING RECORDS, CDS AND TAPES. AND ONLY ALLOW ONLINE WEBSITE TO PAY US TO LICENSE OR VOICE AND MUSIC ETC. PEOPLE HAVE TO STOP BEING THIRSTY FOR ATTENTION, BECAUSE YOUR NOT REALLY GETTING PAID FROM ANY STREAMING SITES. WAKE-UP IT'S NOT AS HARD AS PEOPLE ARE MAKING THIS A.I PROBLEM TO BE. ONCE AGAIN REMOVE YOUR VOICE AND MUSIC ETC FROM ALL ONLINE PLATFORMS, AND A.I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO STEAL FROM YOU.
