I live in Pittsburgh and work in media for some of our pro teams. Doesn’t surprise me the Pens/Sid/Ovi would make sure this was a special trip for him. So proud I get to see 87 rep my organization every day. To say he’s a class act doesn’t do it justice. He’s a wonderful human as is Ovechkin.
So painful to think that this kid had dreams of playing in the NHL and was on the way there. Then was crushed by something so horrible. Do not take life and opportunities for granted!
He was just and ordinary guy playing hockey, no problems with him until the crash. Thinking about it makes me sad how 5 seconds of bad judgment of other people can change others lives... :’( So sad

Imagine killing 15 people 12 of them being kids because of negligence

what is missing in this, Ovechkin met hm and his family as well. says a lot about 2 superstars who took over an era of hockey
