- Alright folks. Back again and this time I put the stainless steel 7.5m tape measure from Toolplus+ through its paces. Toolplus+ kindly sent me this tape free of charge to review. I have received no money from Toolplus+ and will receive no money from any orders placed.
I honestly think this tape is really good and a massive improvement on your traditional tape and very reasonably priced.

Nice video sharing my friend❤❤❤
Thanks for visiting
Ive gone back to using the european 2 meter folding rule for general small measurements.
Can’t beat a folding rule mate 👍🏻 very underutilised tool 🔨
There great if its wet out
German craftsman always use them . Lightweight, weatherproof.
@@Ste2023 👍
I like the velocity bag .
Me too
Brilliant as always mate
Thanks mate 💪🏻 appreciate the support, have a great Xmas
Nice job mate 🧱👌
👍🏻
thats always been a problem with tapes , you throw them in the mixer at night and they jam really frustrating ! did you set the blockwork out with the new tape ? hence all those cuts
😂😂😂😂😂😂 made me chuckle that 😀 it was a bad Saturday mate, blockbond was least of our trouble 😂
Bought one of these tapes after watching your video…it got grit and sand in it from being in my pocket and stopped working after a week and a half….complete shite 😂
I walk round with my tape in my pocket everyday checking stuff when on site and mine still works like a dream despite being in the mixer
Good to see/hear Paul again. Sur-real tbh
I sent him this message 👍🏻
If you use a tape in the wet it. I always pull it out of the full clean it off and put wd40 on it to displace any water in it.. never had a problem after it... but i don't throw them into the mixer
😂😂
👏🏻👏🏻
🏌🏻♂️
Folding rule European or 4 fold for short cuts gauge rod with tenon saw cuts and datum pegs very under used...🤔
👍🏻
The old tapes have a hard life to be honest especially in the winter 😳just don’t pull them out 😂😂
To true 😂 I do reckon this tape is different!! Will do a little follow up video, working fine today
It's not really a fair comparison. You need to chuck in a brand new Stanley tape and work on it the same as you did with the other 1. my guess, it would be the same outcome that Stanley tape looked well used already
Besides all the cuts in the blockwork, tidy job on the extension, 👍
Fair point, although I don’t think a normal tape would stand the test! While the Stanley has been used it was still a good tape and I wasn’t in a rush to replace it
Don’t ask on the Blockwork mate, I stuck cut under the window in the end 😂
I oil my tapes. They would last years if I didn’t lose them 😂
I use a bit of WD40 on mine too 👍🏻
Doubtful any tape will make it to the end of the job given how wide the cavity is getting 😂
Good point 😂
I had a 7.5 metre one lasted a week shite no better then any other tape exactly same as what what one of yours is doing
So you go through a tape a week? Mine is still perfectly fine after being in a mixer
130
More
230 a week
Close mate
150 a week
More 👍🏻
£150 to £200 per week
Higher 😁
Had that tape about 3weeks , absolutely shite 🙄
Still got mine and its been in the mixer 🤣
£350 a week????
A bit out
