Not sure if everyone knows this but in most cases, when someone puts something in your drink the ice will no longer float, so always get ice in your drink if someone gets it or hold it for you

Other advice for people going to parties.
- Make sure someone who's not partying knows where you are.
- If you can bring your own drinks do so.
- Never drink the house juice. Stuff is basically poison.
- Have a code word with your friends so that you don't have to explain difficult situations in front of strangers.
- Don't go to far from the party. Crazy things can happen when no one is around.

Please don't feel bad i am sure you are not those creeps who we are talking about
Don’t feel bad it’s just that people can be such creeps and it’s not fair for girls it is not nice to grow up to
i’m glad you feel for us - if you want to do something that’s gonna have a positive effect then make sure to hold your male friends accountable! if they’re joking about something that can perpetuate sexism & rape culture, telling them that it’s not funny/asking them why they think it’s okay can make such a big difference. we need more men who are willing to stand up against toxicity, because sadly men with those opinions rarely listen to women if we’d stand up against them :(
@@hih1590 i would if i had any 🤣😅
I currently am only friends with a small group of the lgbtq community members, and a heterosexual woman, so... No problems there xD
And also , the "ice not floating " is cap , I did an experiment with my freinds were we saw if it will not float or not and guess what it floated , normal drink floats and drugged drinks float.
I mean..what did you drug it with? Not doubting the information is correct, just wondering about the specifics of your experiment and the accuracy based on how it was performed.
I think you might be right because when you add a substance of powder into it or something, the ice would theoretically sink to the bottom right? However, when we add sugar to a drink, the ice doesn’t sink to the bottom does it? So I think it depends on how much density the substance you’re putting in the drink has. Which means it’s not really reliable to see if the ice sinks or not.

Also, spending an extra few bucks on a new drink rather than letting someone else hold the drink IS WORTH IT! If you don’t want to carry your drink into the bathroom, dump it out. Simple. If you left your drink sitting and you’re suspicious, dump it OUT!! Your safely is worth more than an 11$ drink.

I remember this girl shared her story. She was in her cousin's house for some party and there were a few boys who came over. At one point, a boy asked this girl to try the drink in the freezer, she did it. She said the last thing she remembered was her walking down the lawn and then just falling on the ground. That last one is so true. Because thinking about it not one of my guy friends would even care about me holding my own drink. They wouldn't offer to hold it for me it wouldn't even be a question. So if you think someone would get mad because of that then clearly they aren't just a friend.
My mom told me this once and that you should be careful with any drinks left unattended in public places
For the last one, I was in a fist fight and my best friend was walking buy. Same with my partner. They saw the fight and I won then came over asking if I was ok. I had a scratch, about .5 inches and they said I needed to be careful and nicer to people. This dude was drunk and tried to fight me, how am I supposed to be nice? Let them hit me?

Today I went on a walk, and I saw this old man staring at me creepily, so I sped up and ran all the way home
If it was a hot 6 ft tall guy with abs and boy band hair would you have felt creeped out and took off running? Men hate when women call guys creepy but usually that just means he's unattractive to me.
@@25fadeaway no he was actually creepy, he was in a less busy street where there was hardly anyone and he just had that creepy vibe
@@RawrieAddicted that's a lie. If Leonardo DiCaprio or Idris Elba is checking you out he's not a Creep. There's data to back up if a dude is not attractive he is automatically viewed as creepy. If a 6 ft tall Channing Tatum is checking you out trust you me you are not thinking that he's a creep

My anxiety makes it when I leave a drink I’m afraid to drink it even if I am positive it’s mine I just don’t wanna take the chance of accidentally drinking someone else’s drink.
My mom told me these things when I first went to a party and yeah it really helps and makes you feel confident in parties.. :)
Okay so just my opinion and I want you guys to know this but whats more effective then educating women on how to keep themselves safe, is creating safe spaces for women. A better use of time would be to educate others, women and men, on how we can create a world where women/feminely presenting individuals can be safe and treated with respect in all situations. This information is still important to know for the short time, but it will not do anything to work and to change the damage being done to all women across the world. Remember to stay educated, and to teach others with the same passion you use to protect women.
Thank you Spencer your like such a big sister to all of us girls ❤️

Omg I love her necklace
True my brother is 23 I’ll be 22 in October and when we go out together he literally is my coat hanger , walking purse( meaning If I didn’t bring my purse he will carry my phone lipstick , etc) and body guard .
A few rules I think every person should follow no matter your age and especially if you’re a girl because this type of stuff is just so much more common if you are.
1. Get home before sundown and/or 9pm if you’re at a party. If you’re walking or biking or something after sunset, make sure you are with at least 5 friends and/or family members with a mix of genders.
2. Avoid partying with strangers altogether.
3. Doesn’t matter if you trust your friends, WATCH YOUR DRINK and do NOT get drunk. Remember it’s always okay to say no.
4. Set up an emergency call system to auto-dial authorities on your phone with a simple command (like you click the volume button 5 times to auto-dial on mine) and always have it in reach and accessible if you are alone in any given situation. I personally always hold my phone with my thumb just lingering on the button inside my pocket where it’s not visible and has a lesser chance of dropping.
5. ALWAYS dress modestly if you are going out (there are exceptions, but this is just in general). For example, don’t wear short skirts and crop tops to a supermarket. It’s not about fashion preference and freedom, it’s about keeping yourself safe from perverts who will attack you while you load your trunk with groceries.
6. Do not walk around with headphones on if you are travelling alone unless you are in your own car (with the door locked), and do not play on your phone or distract yourself with anything if you are taking the bus and there are very few people on it.
7. Carry something you can distract someone with. Guns and knives and even pepper spray can easily be turned on you if the prosecutor gets the upperhand. Get an alarm keychain and/or pin to blast super loud sounds. It’s difficult to silence them in a hassle, and you can pull the pin unnoticeably. Even if it’s 3am and no one is in hearing range, it will still delay the assaulters and give you a chance to escape.
8. If you are living alone, try to make it look like you do not live alone. This literally can be done by simply placing a pair of *used* work boots at the front door along with your normal shoes to make it seem like people are constantly coming and going. I suggest products of the opposite gender to make it more obvious.
9. Install a webcam (or multiple) on the outside of your house and don’t get one that isn’t waterproof and isn’t equipped with night vision. Set an automated alarm system for trespassers when you’re not home and/or it’s night and you’re asleep. If your friends are going to be popping in during alarm hours, tell them to call you beforehand. They shouldn’t have access to your home anyways. If you have a passcode, it’s not for them. If you need a trusted person to check on the house while you’re away for a while, give them a copy of the key and make sure to get it back when you get back.
10. Locations, off, always. Exceptions are people responsible for your safety like your parents and/or spouse (assuming that they aren’t the ones you’re in danger from). NEVER post your exact whereabouts on social media unless you’ve left it already. On vacation? Do not post anything till after you return home. Hanging out at a local park? Wait. Your address is private at all times to everyone. If you’re meeting up with someone for an interview, go to a cafe or something. Selling something on Kijiji? Transaction completed right outside the local drugstore!
And honestly the list is endless, but these are just some really crucial ones.
