You can use this for so many things. Connect a heater to it to control the heat in a room. Or place the probe at specific location to make sure the its stays at the desired temperature for that particular location. You can connect it to an A/C unit and place the probe elsewhere to make sure the desired location stays at a desired temperature. You could also use it with something like a hair dryer or heat lamp to incubate eggs in a chamber. You can use it with heat mats for seed starting to make sure your seeds are at the perfect temp. Use it in a grow tent to switch the exhaust fan on and off to keep your grow environments at the perfect temperature depending on plant types.
It can be set for any temperature range. Even within 1/10 degree. There are so many creative uses being that you can plug almost anything into it. The only downside with this particular product is that it's a little confusing to set up using the interface. For that reason I chose not to attempt to explain it. You'd be better off reading the directions. But once it is figured out, it's not that hard and it really is "set it and forget it."

Perfect timing for this video, thank s for the upload. I have a rooftop garden and usually only two weeks maximum to deal with hundred degree possible temperatures at the end of July. Been experiencing this heat for 4 weeks now, I think this will work perfect for my drip pump to maintain root temperature.

"Inkbird" also makes affordable temp. controllers as well. They have two outlets, one for heating and one for cooling. People use them for everything including incubators (for chicken eggs etc) which require a very narrow, specific range of temp control - where you'd need both heating and cooling device to keep that range where you need it.
    Thanks.
    Peace.

Great Video, so I have an RV fridge that needs new fans, there small 4.7" fans. Its not that Im getting cheep here but do you think I can hook up those 4 fans to that one outlet via a 4 outlet adapter/ extension?? I dont have much room behind the fridge so thats why I want to put just 1. Thanks.

Thank you for actually talking and explaining the device versus others I've watched with no sound at all! Do you know if this has a mounting holes on the back to mount to a wall? I was planning to use this to control a heating lamp in a dog house between 40 - 55 degrees.

What is the plus or minus to turn on and off? I have one that is plus or minus 2 degrees and that is too large.

Can you use this one to control a high and low point and off at the same time? I'm looking for one that will turn a fan on at a certain low temperature and a certain high temperature but off during moderate temperatures. The fan will be connected to buried geothermal tubes that will help to raise or lower temperatures when too drastic.

Josh Blick this one only does one range. On at at -- until -- or off at -- until --
