The phone call between Damien and Demetrius was so well written and performed. You can tell Demetrius has been put through all the same expectations as his little brother and knows it's not healthy. The drop in his voice when Damien wanted to see their dad for just a minute was such a hard shift. Demetrius knew from experience their dad probably wouldn't show up and how that feels. Instead of being blunt, he tries to cushion the blow in a way that lets his little brother know it might not happen, it's not his fault, and that he has family that will be there for him.
Damians brother (and frat bros) being so supportive was really nice to see. Good for him! Can’t wait for the showdown between Makima and Yor though! After all, Yor is the only one allowed to emasculate Lloyd 😅
ok, we now have the concept of "canon" which is probably related to the whole "Grand creator" thing Momo is doing. he is also chained to "something" but otherwise appears to have a far greater influence on the overall situation as compared to everyone else.
Those chains are actually Makima's power. Spoilers for Chainsaw Man fans, but she's the control devil, and those chains are how she controls people. They will grant her full control of anybody she veiws as inferior to herself.
