I worked at Miracle Strip for 6 years ,and worked this ride too many times to count . Best job I ever had . Also Val Valentine made the rides Abominal Snowman & Dantes Inferno at Miracle Strip

This is awesome way better than most dark rides. Plus all the fun things you can do there is way more worth it than my Six Flags , we cannot even have haunt fun with bad weather shutting it down and only operating on a freakin Saturday . Great fun carbetbagger, say hi to Jenn please.

Thank you Jacob. I think this was the best Haunt ever. I think the others go overboard with the blood and gore. This one just scares you not gross you out.
It is an amazing haunt. I live less than a mile away. The owner turns the ride into a Christmas theme during the holidays with tons of vintage blow molds and such. Jeremy Cruse is his name. He's a super nice guy!
The dark ride feels akin to a Scooby-Doo cartoon. Love it. 😄

Cool dark ride. I love the dark rides! That looks like a really good haunt! Lots of jump scares. My son hates all the screaming from the actors. He says that they should be able to scare you without screaming.

This Attraction is so much fun and I had an absolute Blast when I went. We need more Haunts with Carnivals because this one is on my Top 10 list for Hunts this year. So glad you were able to make the trip to Jacob.
I just relived my childhood watching this video. Thank you CarpetBagger. The Bullet and Faris Wheel also looks like they are from the old Amusement Park as well. I spent many weekends at that park. Awesome to know the rides are still being used.

Same here, so many great memories! I’ve been looking for footage of this ride for years now! I’m so happy to see it’s been restored! It’s a damn shame that the park was closed for what was supposed to be condos that never happened. So much history was destroyed and lost forever and much of what used to make Panama City so unique (The Miracle Strip, Haunted Wax Museum, the huge statues that were everywhere, and the restaurant shaped like a ship are all gone now.

Never been to the Miracle Strip, but I'm glad the ride was saved. It really is like going back in time for a minute or so. Didn't like all the horns in the haunt though. More annoying than scary. Made me feel like I was stuck in traffic.
Oh man I rode this as a child forty years ago at the Miracle Strip! This thing scared the hell out of me and I’ve been trying my best to find footage of it for the past decade! I’m so happy to see it’s still around and has been lovingly restored for younger generations to be righted just as I was way back then. Back when it was in Panama City at the park the ride was inside a castle looking building with a creepy tree that looked like a face.
I did notice one thing that had changed however, there was a mannequin in a round tube of what I believe was a fish descaler that would tun around inside. I believe it was right at the end before just before the exit but I could be mistaken. From what I remember a lot of the original props are still there though!

My family and I used to go to the miracle strip every year when I was a kid, it was heartbreaking when they tore it down
Miracle Strip also had the sister haunted house to the mysterious mansion. It was called Old House. I was super disappointed when it was removed from the park in the late 90s. It even had the flashing skeleton that the mysterious mansion use to have
Jeremy is a cool dude. People are really surprised at what all he has made fit in what space he has. He really goes all out when it comes to details.
Jacob’s tombstone will read “what was I thinking?”

That vortex tunnel was amazing. I love the display of the skeleton fishing the skeleton out of the fountain. Thanks for bringing us here with you!
I def appreciate u going on the upside down ride for us. Also their use of mechanical fire alarm horns and horns in general in the haunt and dark ride was exceptional!

You can really tell you enjoy your job. I know it’s a grind traveling all the time but you never let it show and I for one enjoy the wholesomeness and good old fashioned fun especially in these crazy times we live in. Keep doing a great job and thank you so much.
They should name the ferris-wheel the "Scare-Us Wheel".

That was a cool carriage ride and Ferris wheel. Now that what I call a dark ride. Thats the best I have seen in a while. Was surprised when you road the bullet.The haunted was awesome . Got a lot of screams out of you. That was truly awesome Jacob .Cool plant shop, Keep Safe ❤Keep Well❤
There used to be actors in the dark ride, and my aunt and uncle used to work near the spinning tunnel. It was so fun.

Wow cool!! How do you find all these cool places that I didn’t even know they existed!! Too bad it’s so far from me!!! 😢 lol thst loop o plane ride I call it The Hammer. They had it in Coney Island , Brooklyn, Nyc back in the 70s- 80s. I rode it in 87 when I was 15, I had blacked out on it a few times! The engine from the ride had a loud roaring sound it went t really really fast…then the muffler would make really loud popping sounds like an m-80 😂😂

This is crazy! I rode that ride in PC! I had no idea the ride was recreated. I thought it was a shame what happened to the park and the hotels that were supposed to take its place never were built. The lot is still abandoned looking. There is a bar that is making a duplicate of the abominable snowman statue which should be interesting

JACOB please look into 301 devils playground in Galena, MD for next season. After visiting many haunts, I went there for the first time tonight and place it immediately in my top 3. It was TERRIFYING and well worth a visit. 4 attractions and truly so creative and makes you lose your breath.

That’s the classic Eyerley Loop-o-Plane. One of the most nauseating machines I have been on. They did the Rock-o-Plane, Roll-o-Plane, Loop-o-Plane and Fly-o-Plane. I’m lucky enough to have been on all four, with the Loop-o-Plane being the least pleasant experience.

Jacob...wow...great episode but that such a unique attraction...glad they salvaged the parts of the dark ride...the clock resembled a funni frite prop but who knows....EPIC...keep it up.

I remember getting on the "Bullet" when i was a kid it was so intense I was never able to ride any more Carnival rides except the Merry Go Around to this day

The floating head guy at the end is broken apparently. You know that loud sound that happens after Jacob leaves that scene? In the original, that sound would play as you entered headless' room and his head is supposed to fly at you.

I'm going to have to visit this place before I die. It's awesome to see one if Bill Tracy's creations preserved this well. It looks like you're too young to have ever visited Idira Park in Youngstown when it was still open. You missed two of Tracy's projects; The Gold Nugget (later Kooky Castle) dark ride, and the Whacky Shack (unlike most of his rides that used that name, it was a funhouse, not a dark ride). Now that I think of it, the Lost River at that park was also designed by Tracy. The Gold Nugget was interesting because it didn't use his trademark hush puppy cars; it used the cars and track from the Laff In The Dark ride that had been in the building before that.
