Super 8 animations are always so inspiring.

So you're the one who likes Eye of the Tiger, or was it a case of Ray havinge seen this and got inspired to make Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger. :) I love your recreations of his models, the Tiger, the Walrus, and of course Trog, and the alternate scenes to his universe. Did you make these models before or after seeing the film, I'm curious because I saw the pictures of the characters in Famous Monsters of Filmland before I ever saw the actual film. Anyway, fun stuff, you could use a more modern transfer though. Thanks for sharing.

Cheers Tim,I saw the film then made the models,I think I was about 13 or 14 at the time, there wasnt a lot of information about how to do stop motion at the time,i used copper wire for armatures and didnt know about tie downs, but they were fun to make and it was great seeing the models moving around, sorry the quality is crap,I projected it onto the wall and recorded onto video with a camcorder years ago,I recorded it onto my phone from the tv lol

@@stopmotionmoron2373 Yeah, tie downs was pretty advanced thinking. You either had to read about them, and understand the article on how they really worked, or someone who knew had to tell you. Fun stuff as usual, no worries about the quality, but it would be nice to see exactly what the puppets looked like.

@@timsmythfilmsandanimations I used lentils for the walrus skin around its neck, some of the models were quite detailed, the bad quality doesnt help,I made all the models apart from the ant,my friend Peter made it,we basically made the films together,I did most because I was right into it,good times, are you on with anything at the moment?

@@stopmotionmoron2373 Yes, I can tell they are detailed, they look very cool. As far as myself, I am working on a very big project that should be done within four months. I will post it on youtube when it is finished. I have left a few clues avbout it on my community page, not in words, but in a few unnamed photographs.
