321SPONGEBOLT SC2 has pushed next year of November 1st 2002. After the Santa Clause DVD already came out.
@@TimothyMTran706 Believe it or not, the footage was also used for the first movie's teaser trailer, albeit rare. The only minor changes is that there was a different announcer narrating the trailer, and the dark blue sky with snowflakes was a green background instead. There was also an additional line "Hollywood Pictures presents Tim Allen. In the movie the North Pole doesn't want you to see". The end also has a change where it said "Coming to town, this holiday season". And this was before Disney and Hollywood Pictures released it under BOTH of their banners.
Oh, I think I got it. TSC2 was meant to be released in November 2001, but they moved it to one year to avoid competition with Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, Monsters Inc and The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring and Monsters Inc, which was originally planned to be released in Thanksgiving 2001, was put in TSC2's place
