I had good teachers so that helped. I say the same things about rolls on the marimba to my students. We're just trying to trick people into thinking that we can do something that we can't. Thankfully most audiences go along with the ruse.
If you don’t mind me asking what was your approach with the musicality arround 1:10 ? This is my solo for this years solo contest , and I want to make sure my musical interpretation for this is very good.
