What the hell are ya'll talking about? The first one's hit sounds had infinitely more impact than this game especially the finishers. Here the finishers just sound like wet floor mop sounds.
@@GamingTankyoure crazy man, some of the finishers in this game sound absolutely mental And everything else sounds so much better. The weapons for example so so good, Kravens jeeps machine guns sound amazing for example. And the sound when swinging around is so good. Even simple things like the sound of the web stretching when performing a slingshot I understand that you may prefer certain sounds in the original, but design and quality wise this one is so much better. Everything sounds so crisp

It's 2024 and I'm still forced to wall run when I so much as sniff a wall near me and then all my momentum is gone, no dual web swinging, wall crawling is barely fixed, the physics is shot.spiderman still moves before the web is connected to anything and spazes out if your swing trajectory is anything other than forward or you hold on to your web. Parkour is still slow and Spidey had the speed of an average man?. The combat gets repetitive because it's just press square and without any combos. By the time you've finished the game you've done everything the combat has to offer. The skill tree was 90 filler fluff like a lot of AAA games today there isnt much actual moves in there just increases in aoe or some other lazy effect . It's a shame because of these things were done were perfect in older Spidey games.
I think any enemy boss or no boss should be picked up and slammed by the tendrils. It kinda makes me mad it doesn’t happen with the big symbiote brutes or boss fights. It’s takes the immersion out and makes them look weak and there not, they literally held a venom with wings back lol. Insomniac need to fix this
@@user-sm9gd8lu7j no I don’t mean damage wise, they can keep the damage the same. I just want the tendrils to actually pick up the enemy we are fighting and slam them on the ground cuz that’s what that ability is for and the tendrils are strong enough to pick them up
Yh instead of making him float in the air for a dodge or just unnaturally move in the air, he has webs to pull himself to a different position. I swear the people who made this game just do the bare minimum

Agree, the second game pretty much didn't implement any innovations, rather they just used first game's mechanics with slight changes

I think it's for the sake of balance, if all abilities worked the same on brutes as on regular enemies it would make boss enemies too weak
