If anyone is interested in any of these.. they are up for auction on my eBay store. Link in my description. Hope you all enjoyed today’s video..
Yvonne, I so respect that you preserved the canisters in their original state AND YET up-styled them! You are so inventive, backing the decoupage paper onto copier paper and burning the edges. My word!
Thank you
No... You didn't scare me. By now I know you have a "method to the madness" of creating beautiful decor out of things others would cast off.👍
VBS was always a field day for my mother, who loved to share her love of crafting with youngsters.
As a child in Vacation Bible School, we did the burn technique to a song edge for a faux book.
Yvonne, you add beauty to everything you touch 😊
The green cans are the best flips I’ve seen in a very long time. Amazing!!
Yvonne, what I love is that you know when to leave things natural and enhance them rather than change them completely. I find myself yelling "noooooooo" at some of these youtubers that have to paint EVERYTHING. Great job!
Thank you!
Positively gorgeous, all of them, I love them all. The sugar bucket isy favorite!
EACH DESIGN CAME OUT BEAUTIFUL...LOVED THEM ALL!
Love all of your projects. Glad to see you doing some colors now instead of just black and white.
Love the combination of the decoupage and the transfers. They all came out great!
Really liked the idea of burning the edge of the paper n adding the transfers brought it up to another level of character. Super cute! I also liked that brush you were using. It’s tapered n looked like you had more control with the wax. Also happy to see you kept everything original except the wooden surgery container.
Love when you show different ideas. Kudos 👏!
♥️😊👍🌟🌟🌟
I like the bucket one the best, I think its the soft color of it...very spring like. Nice job!!
I remember doing decoupage back in the 1970's, which included burning the edges of documents & attaching to pieces of sanded, stained wood. 😊
Nice to see all of your nice projects, Yvonne!
Thank you for sharing that.
I was just going to say that! What goes around comes around! The good ole 70s
Sugar bucket was the biggest makeover, I love it!
You amaze and inspire every time I watch your video, now I’m on the hunt for tin cans!!!
Everything is so beautiful! You are still amazing. I love watching you transform everything. God bless
I love old tins. I really love that green one with the butterflies n flowers, actually both of them.
All the containers turned out beautiful!!
I Love Tins! the green one especially. Beautiful work!
Love love love the burning the labels
Glad you saved these pieces, they are so nice !!!!
I am completely impressed. Wonderful ideas.
Love the sugar bucket and love the burning you did
All are wonderful; can’t pick a favorite 👏👏👏
Fantastic, the outcome was unexpected, they are wonderful. Thanks for inspiring us all! 🌠
I really liked the Multi-media look. I have liquore bottles and I have been looking at them and thinking.... I think I have an idea
Love the burned edges. These are soooo amazing. As usual.
Thank you 🤍
Amazing makeovers. Love the wooden bucket best.❤
Loved all of these, Yvonne. 😍 You have a gift for seeing potential, for sure. Well done ~
Those tins are gorgeous!
OM...GOSH ❤
I think you have just started a new trend re the way you did your decourpaging on the tins !!!!!
They turned out great, loved the music too!!
Wow - I loved these flips.Keep up your amazing work.
They look fantastic! A tip for the burning technique I learnt from another crafter is to use a candle for flame as it gives greater control.
Love them all as usual but the red tins are my fav! Thank you for sharing!!❤
The cans are beautiful. Fantastic job
Oh wow, Yvonne! That is so cool how you burned the edges, and also how you used copy paper on the backs! Those red tins came out amazing! And adding the transfers to the green tin looks so beautiful. And that bucket at the end....Yvonne, everything is so beautiful. Thank you for sharing!!
Combining the decoupage paper and the transfers was brilliant! The grain sack paper on the red tins was beautiful! Great video! 🤗
You are incredible! Always enjoy watching you, but when you started playing with fire, I got a little nervous! Just kidding! I knew you had control! These remakes are astounding! You do beautiful work!! 24:49
I have been watching u an Chris along time...I miss ur old videos...I would love to see some French country
That ice bucket is gorgeous!!!😍😍😍😍 I have some tins I just hated to throw away so I'm going to try this!🤩🤩🤩 And I have to line them with the paper!!! Right now before I forget, that's brilliant!!!
love love the sugar bucket
Gorgeous red cans! You are so inventive, Yvonne.
Love the tin cans ❤. You rocked it 😊
You have most definitely inspired me with the burning technique 💕💕💕💕
Such great makeovers. I love your ideas that turn ugly containers into something so nice.
I LOVE THE RED CANS!!
The sugar bucket was my favorite!! Going to ebay to get it!
I loved every transformation!!!! It is so hard to choose; but, I think my favorite was the wooden bucket!!😊❤. Thank you so much for sharing! Sincerely, Diane
Oh my goodness! I don't think I would have thought any one could make these very rusty crusty tins look so amazing, but you did! I have bought some pretty questionable rusty crusty pieces. You have inspired me to buy more! Ha ha ha! I absolutely love these!❤
You inspired me to buy the black wax……🖤 I absolutely love it. Great flips….keep them coming.
Oh.. glad you love it too🤍
Love love love these. So beautiful.
Terrific job, yet again! Love to watch you create
Love your videos. Today, I learned something new, burning the edges. Loved the effect. Can't wait to try it on one of my many projects. You are an inspiration.
I love the mixed media green cans!
You’re so talented and good at up-cycling!
Everything you did was great-love the last one 😊
Thanks so much 😊
Well done really pleasing to the eye
All of these turned out so beautifully
Thanks for shar
Small suggestion, when I burn paper edges, I use a candle, so I don’t have to hold the lighter. Cute ideas!❤
I love how you used the Millots Transfer. I’ve pulled it out 15xs and keep getting hung up! Love this!
They’re all gorgeous ❤
Girl you “ROCKED” those old tin cans ! I will be on the look out for cans like that to try your technique. Thank you
Love love everything
The redcanisters are sooo cute 😍 well done as always Yvonne!
Absolutely I love them. I have a collection of the old tins. I find a lot of them at auctions ❤. Yours are so beautiful. I will have to get some of that spray. I really never thought of that but wow it makes perfect sense to preserve them!!
Loving the makeovers. So agree about those tins, so pretty just need some gussying up! The transfers took it over the top, so beautiful. I was a little anxious about the burning technique but wow, they all turned out really nice! Love the makeovers!
What a beautiful technique!! Can't wait to try it!!
Love all the you do, but these turned out so awesome.
Thank you for sharing ❤
You did it again!! The original colors are marvelous and to add those sweet embellishments for an update is brilliant Yvonne!!! I love it!! Burning the edges just makes it even more beautiful and, then the waxes?!!!! AMAZING!!❤❤❤❤❤👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Thank you so much!
OMG! I love your burning technique and when you added the rub on transfer I was amazed again. Can't wait to use your ideas on my crafts. Wish I could find some metal cans in my neck of the woods (New Brunswick Canada). We have one antique barn close by, but the prices are truly outrages.
I am so impressed with these!
I love how excited u get, I’m the same way.
Yes you have inspired me. I want to try to order some transfers and also molds, thank you so much for always sharing your great videos 💞
Just beautiful.
Omg the tins are beautiful
I love it ALL!!!!!!!
Wow. Loved what you did on the buckets and tins!!! I just redid an old vintage railroad motor oil tin with labels of motor oil companies. Added rust patina and it looks amazing!!
Oh.. I’d love to see it!! Sounds amazing 🤍
Love these! I watch all your tutorials!
Those were all beautiful. I love the way you use the black wax to age things. It's that extra little touch that makes your items so special.
So amazing, as always!!! I totally stopped the video to go to the websites and had a look around. Thank you for sharing that with us! I want to be just like you when I grow up!! 😂 ❤ Seriously I am such a fan, I look forward to every single video!!
The burning idea is something I am definitely going to try I often print photos etc onto copy paper to use on projects and it looks better than trying to rip the edges all your projects turned out great x
Oh Yvonne …. You are brilliant! Your talent is endless. I love all of them! I’m bidding on those 2 green tins….trying to hold back my finger on the sugar bucket. I have 6 of them in my attic 🤦♀️. NOW I have new ideas for them! Love , love, love the Fusion Paint ( I’m a little sick of the Peony color right now, I’m using it for the Bridal Shower..it is beautiful though 💕) They have some beautiful colors !
Can’t wait for part 2 and 3 of this !
Well done ! ❤️❤️
Yes.. I bet you won’t use that color for a long time after the wedding. But what a show stopper that wedding will be🤍
They all look great. Love any metal items, and the added age makes them perfect. TFS
Everything looks great!!!
Those old tins look so good, yes most people would have passed on them for sure, but now they look really good and that burn technique really turned out great!❤
Oh girl you are amazing!!!
Great items,I've used the burning techniques for several years, I love it also
Oh.. I’m new to it.
I've switched from a lighter to a candle for burning edges. My favorite transformation today is the sugar bucket. 😊
I thought the same thing and posted it in my comment before seeing yours. Sorry.
You scared me with the burning at first! I was helping by blowing 😂 When I’ve done that, I’ve used a wet rag to just put it on to control…no bucket of water 😊 As always…everything is lovely!❤
Absolutely beautiful ideas. I love the combination of the decoupage paper with the transfers. I use the fire burning technique a lot but what I do is I create a ring around the item or design that I want to keep intact but I paint a ring around that design in mod podge and the mod podge will stop the burning so you don't have to keep wetting the paper. But beautiful job as always
Thank you so much!
I like fusions but also country chic n lily moon
You are so awesome
I love your finished products
I just started my own business and you are such an inspiration
Your pieces are so finished
Thank you for your videos ❤
Aww.. thank you for sharing that💝
Just AWESOME!!!
I loved the burning technique. I had forgotten all about it. Everything looks beautiful. I’ll bet the sugar bucket sells now! Thanks Yvonne 🥫❤
Thank you
Oh my you did it again! Blooming fantastic! Also please read your description, it cracked me up “today’s**t”😂
Lol.. well I fixed that. Oops left a word out.. and spaces matter🥴🤗😂
Oh my !! You brought back memories for me I use to burn edges when I crafted back in the 70’s I have wondered if you ever did that and you did xo
I love that you did the burn edge method! Very old school! With all the cool new waxes and techniques, it appears it's even better now! Thank you for all the tips! I will use this method and revive and old approach! Very fun! Your pieces are gorgeous!
Thank you!
I think if you used a candle that was stationary you could work with both hands to control the flame and burning better.
