I have to say that those limb transformations hit the sweet spot between being overly fiddly and pleasantly surprising. The way both hands and feet folded out was nice. The torso deformation and head reveal were serviceable, and the wing separation was a quite stylish touch. I am not entirely sure I love the resulting design, something just seems unimpressive about it, but the process of getting from that very nice jet mode to robot mode is exceptional. If this figure gets noticed by the big 1st and 3rd-party design houses, I think figure engineering in general will be improved by people trying to chase this design philosophy.
This one is more cooler than the Starscream. Thanks man!

Cool transforming aircraft, and rocking out. A winning combination!
Great looking plane mode, and that's a nice elaborate transformation sequence. Not 100% sure about that lavender purple colour, and the robot mode doesn't quite nail the standard heroic proportions. But if the price is right, quite tempting.

Why is 3rd party transformers look so smooth while the licensed ones always look boxy and full of kibble??
Because Hasbro/Takara can't realistically put that much engineering and manufacturing into something that has to be marketed at a much more general audience at a $30/$40 price.
Cause the hasbro toys are aimed at kids and meant to be played with.
Kinda reminds me of those annoying a** drones in TF1 the game when you’re fighting Blackout and Starscream. Good times.

version of it
It’s actually China’s highly controversial 5th Gen, the J-20. Many argue it just “Chinese sht” and “4th Gen at best” due to the shape and shtty engines, along with less than ideal country of origin.
The Russian F-22 equivalent would be the SU-57. More respected than the J-20 but still a big source of critique.
