GommeBlog.it: Car & Performance who doesn’t like this much of quality. You put tremendous amount of efforts to perfect your product. I just was wondering why employees were not wearing gloves at the end?
i dont like it because it VW. even the engine is the same.
hi how can I learn how to be Bentley mechanic,?
A start is to work in Bentley stores as seller
Bir bahar icin yaprak doktuyuk
No narrator...no music....thank you cinema gods
Then people ask why they charge $200k for a new Bentley. The attention to detail is off the charts here, all hand crafted to perfection. What a masterpiece.
Amazing! The attention to detail is phenomenal.
Loving this video! No background music is perfect

impressive craftsmanship 👍👍
+Lalle Prutt 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
One of the most satisfying videos on youtube
they really love their work
As a lifelong construction guy from Vancouver, Canada, I really, really appreciate the methods that Bentley turns simple wood veneer into their details. To see how they mold the components was incredible. My hats off to the total plant and the workers are phenomenal. It was a pleasure to see the process. Would I drive a Bentley. Yes. Would I sell my collection of Mercedes. Yes. In a heartbeat. First, I am letting go my 1992 MB 400SE in best condition will be put on the sale in 1 week. Look for Craigslist Vancouver. This 400SE is in 9/10 condition.
Do you know what type of adhesive they'd used to bond the sheets together under heat and pressure like that?
@@JShel14 It is usually a mylar sheet that melts under the heat and pressure of the press.
Magnifique travail fait main !
Perfect!! I really enjoyed the video please share more :-) thanks for sharing with us!!
The QC is like a jewellery factory.
Nicely done.
Dang... These people are so hardworking.
Great Video, Tanks for share !

Un grand respect à toutes ses petites mains méticuleuses qui réalisent un travail de grande précision. Il est naturel que ses voitures de luxe justifie le prix d'acquisition d'une Bentley ou une Rolls .
Absolument
Absolutely fantastic
Hermoso trabajo
Wow it's amazing
Sir plz in your old and upcoming video u add subtitles and some voice about, what process running
Beautiful
Fantastic! I would also like to see how Rolls Royce does it.
Pretty much the same, as with others, there is no fast way of producing real veneer car sets
اكثر من رائع
One day Rodney!! One day!
Que la beauté soit, et la beauté (Bentley) fut.
It would be nice to have someone explaining what they are doing
Mi Piace !!!!! TOP TOP TOP TOP

everyone is overlooking the obvious you can not make it out of a solid piece. because of climate it will be in changing weather conditions in the car will cause a solid piece of wood to crack
Or warp.
Most of those materials would be too heavy or not come in large enough pieces. It's just a veneer to appear like that. It's way lighter and stronger. Same thing with air craft furniture
4-5 years ago saw online a Mercedes Benz S-Class coupe' that had a dash veneer of Moppa (AKA European Popular) Burl.....Beautuful wood!
The best Luxery car
Please could you tell me what kind of woods are shown in this video?
This is nice and all. But how long till we use up all the trees. [
What kind of blue tape is used in the veneering process?
I love Bentley Continental GT Convertible,it's motivation me to work hard.
I hope you succeed in all good works
I hope you will get your dream car one day!
Great video ! I build cabinets and furniture for private jets so recognized alot of materials and processes ! It Was cool to see how they sanded using those belts and some sort of block to push the belt down and sand where they wanted.
I'm an exotic wood fanatic I guess so it was also nice seeing these materials used in different ways than what I'm used to!
You are Welcome ... I hope You Enjoy and Subscribe my Channel
it's called a stroke sander -
Do you know what the name of the white tape used is?
@@user-xi9hz1fu9s it's masking tape
Bellissimo, e pensare che io facevo il Pomolo del cambio per la Rolls. ..
It's well shot, but why didn't you plug the missing audio (silence) with natural sounds from another clip, basic video production 101
There's shop sounds and I thought it made for beautiful 501 level production.
And I would have thought that they would have been blasting classical music the whole time... shows what I know.
Quelqu’un serait la référence du scotch qu‘il utilise pour jointer ainsi que le scotch bleu avant de cintrer ?
Anybody nose the references of the 2 band-aid?
Very nice video, too bad about all the haters in the comments; people please!
Bryce Winter , while I can enjoy great craftsmanship, the obvious is that it is really a waste of resources,
Decedent built with greed.
My opinion.
Good
wondering what the used for a finish on these pieces nitrocellulose lacquer or shellac? it would probably be formulated to be durable.
Polyester lacquer
@@Hattonbank ah! ok a modern finish
U see factories like this, and Ferrari etc. It makes sense why they charge so much, it is CRAZY to me that they can have this level of scale with the small number of cars they sell each year.
Hi, what is the product name applied to 3:21 of the video?
Can we buy a modified piece???
Perfect work
If we would give just the tenth of what we pay for our cars and other luxury to feed the hungry, to heal the sick, or to give some attention to people in need, then this world would be a better one.
Thanks for your comment
Feed the hungry? Try feeding them birth control pills so they cut back on their reproduction. The world is overpopulated.
We do, it is called sales tax...
Exactly !!!!!!
Master peace.
The real question is, what adhesive and finish was that?
If they tell u everything
U will made interior ur self after buying a cheap car😂😂😂
'BENTLEY !
3:13 that perfection..
How it's made dream cars but it doesn't have commentary and it's longer.
This woods plant is nilambur in kerala
He trynna make a flip book with wood
Needs narration
amazing, non of the worker seen wearing a mask to protect them against dust from the wood finishing process.
Bambang Nugroho they are using down draft tables
Столько сил и ресурсов потрачено в пустую.
Skilled work here for these trim pieces, and good for this type of industry, skills and so on.etc.......but lets get real here to the rest of this "car" I know that the switches and "plastic" mouldings for example, are just the same material as on any production car, and same heat/vacume units used blah and so on.....
Ahppero'!
nice lets lets carbon wrap it later. *nuff said
Where are these veneers made?
The main wood veneer centres in Europe where they turn the burls/logs into fine cut veneers are in Milan and Valencia.
There are some mills in the US, the best known being in Cincinnati, also in Hamburg. Not too long ago veneers were produced in north London.
There are many suppliers of veneers but few skilled suppliers who can turn the burls/logs into veneers.
Sir i want veneer how much price
An ostentatious symbol of wealth that you would think had gone out with royalty when feudalism ended. That being said, it is a very fine show of craftsmanship and a pleasure to behold. I just wish it wasn't a car.
Feudalism is back and in a big way, I'm afraid. No serfs buying this car, obvio.
If it wasn’t a car it would be a yacht, private plane, big house, paintings etc etc
That is a lot of sanding!
People always complain about plastic use in car interior, so Bentley uses woods.
So do Jaguar, Range Rover, Aston Martin, Rolls, MB, BMW and other lux car manufacturers
Ad to start it, ad in the middle. Geez
So if I order a bentley without wood trim it would cost as much as an average car
Yes, and take out the V12, leather, air con, wheels, nice paint job, wuality carpets etc etc etc then you can have a BMW
The grinder guys. should really wear masks
Such LUXORY!!.....lol
The major part where the wood is polished and given the final finish has been skipped. What the f ?
Why do they keep flapping it?
I think it is to see how each sheet matches
THUMBS DOWN _ Where is the commentary on what the processes are???
Sound wise very bad movie but other wise interesting because one can connect to the emphazise
I don't get it, is this "wood"really considered as luxurious or expensive? I mean, if I was to spend more than a $100k I'll rather have my trim made out of whole pieces of real rosewood or at least walnut...
The issue here is not of cost, but supply. To get whole, non veneered, exotic wood interiors you'd be looking at car makes with productions of 10-30 per year. Not 10-11 thousand like Bentley.
They simply couldn't secure enough high grade exotic wood to furnish all those vehicles. The choice then is exceptional veneer or sub par solid wood. I'd rather look at exceptional veneer than blemished lumber.
atsernov
Yes. Rosewood or Walnut Burl is very limited, because its an anomaly in nature
Asternov is absolutely correct. Furthermore, we're talking about HAND BOOKMATCHED veneers of specialty woods. In any industry where woods are chosen specifically for their look and/or rarity (closest commonly understood one I can think of being guitars), such craftsmanship is generally fairly expensive alone, much less when the entire piece is made of a single wood. Bookmatching (where you see somebody flipping one veneer back and forth to match one to the other) is a particularly time-intensive procedure, and that ain't no plywood boards they're making there. There can be no defects in the veneers, they must be damned near identical, and it would be insanely (seriously, ruinously) expensive to make the entire dash panels and trim out of such rare wood, much less environmentally disasterous. Even luxury car makers care about the environment a little, even if it is mostly for their own benefit XD
everyone is overlooking the obvious you can not make it out of a solid piece. because of climate it will be in changing weather conditions in the car will cause a solid piece of wood to crack
fab7133 I don't think wood is as inflexible as you seem to think it is, but bookmatching large (specifically thicker), quality cuts of expensive woods such as they're using so as to get the effect they're going for would be so much more expensive, environmentally wasteful, and heavy that it's not really all that socially acceptable in this day and age; or, more importantly, in the future. Bentley, Rolls-Royce, Maybach, etc., etc. will almost certainly all be finding more innovative and refined ways to continue to make large, opulent motorized business/pleasure accomodations, or at least they'd better if they want to stay in business to rake in that fat, geriatric billionare cash XD
they should have wear a mask on.
Ferrys Gunawan
Stuff health and safety.
All the tables they work on have holes or slats. Any dust created is drawn down away from the worker through a vacuum system.
まず、日本のヤマハでもここ迄は作らないし造れない、木を知っていても、素材が持つ自然が与えてくれる年輪をどの様に自然に表すか?大変な技術です!
Is there any danger of putting in TOO MUCH wood and then the car becomes a boat? And I believe boats are illegal to drive on roads?
Türk iş😁
Who cares who purchases these autos or why. What is important is that companies can remain in existence, maintain and hire new employees and grow larger.
Gary Miller you're a fucking idiot
LOL.....yeah, that's exactly what human enslavement looks like. JFC you leftards are idiots.
Well then, you're not completely nuts at all are you...Yeesh.
Horrifying to think that most of these magnificent cars are in the junk yard by now.
Too expensive to maintain when they're 15 years old.
Rosewood and burl don't really exist in "solid" wood which is also climate change unstable...this is fine craftsmenship
Micheal Owings well said!
Пля если они делают все так четко ручной работай, почему они так часто ломаются. Смысла не вижу!!!
Shit I dropped it!
Why was no one wearing respiratory ppe!?! I hope it was just off for the cameras:). When the sawdust is flying around my shop I can't stop hacking without my mask.
Beautiful veneer work! :)
downdraft tables it looks like
speedbuggy16v oh yes! I see them now, good eye! I didn’t even think of down draft tables. I don’t even think of equipment like that, I guess that might have to do with the difference between my shop budget and Bentley’s shop budget. Lolol
Мда.. люксовые машины... Использование шпона в отделке. Машина за 200 тысяч долларов (!) Грустно это всё.
Its not easy to made this work
Big bill lol
And now you know why Bentleys cost as much as they do. Serious Craftmenship.
Thanks for your comment
Cool but not my taste. Wood is for old men. I prefer carbon fiber twill weave gloss.
I always thought it was a real wooden frame.what a disappointment
I've never understood the appeal of wood accents, especially burl. Even with furniture, I don't really care for the look of most wood finishes, or burls.
Made it to 9:30.. fell asleep
I was actually disappointed to see the veneer applied to the underlying wood at the 5:18 mark. I wonder if anyone has special ordered a veneer-free car in something like walnut or ash, perhaps even skipping the urethane and just oiling the wood.
I don't think just oiling the wood would last long enough on a dashboard. Remember, car interiors get very very hot in the summer- I think the oils would end up just evaporating off and leaving the wood to dry out. Also, the veneer lets them book-match the pattern to a longer piece. It would be interesting to see a solid wood one, however.
Is this the only reason y Bently cost so damn much
Hand made always costs a lot
@@georgealderson4424 i kno 😂
They use completely the same techniques in case of audi Q7, which bentayga is obviously based on. So I do not see any sophistication here ... it might be however observed, if you take into account this exclusively-designed falconry set - it is cool, but manufactured by the Mulliner.
