People keep talking about Eloy and Corey's vocals. They are surprised that Corey sounds this good again. I am not. Corey went through a divorce and losing his family - he sounds so good right now because he IS ANGRY. He hasn't been angry like this since his 20s.
I feel for him - but damn is it good for the music. Keep killing it boys.
He sounds this good because the guy is the master of the scream. He changes it up on purpose. People want those old vibes back and he's going back to it. I agree he is angry. Dude had a mental breakdown lately. When Corey is in a dark place, that's when Slipknot puts out their best work. I cant wait to hear what comes next. Im sure it wont disappoint.
I dont think he went through a divorce... he has engaged Alicia in 2019 and I remember seeing them together a couple months ago...
update: Corey and Alicia are still together, so this isnt true that he went through a divorce again, she actually is touring with the band...
@@JuniorColanzi He went through 1 divorce and has been separated for years in his 2nd marriage but not yet divorced I would assume because of financial reasons. He has a daughter with his 2nd marriage. He is definitely hurt and angry.

Funny thing i've noticed, all the people that were hating on Eloy after the first few videos that came out with him playing, saying things like ''i'm not feeling this drummer'', ''his fills are wrong'' ''He hits too hard'' and all other sorts of nonsense, have all vanished! hahahah it's mind blowing to me how people could hate on a drummer of this caliber.
if im honest i didnt know much about him, but im loving everything ive seen come out with him. so much more energy on stage and the heavy drums are cracked
@@Dealy12 That should be the common sense approach by people that didn't know him previously, by waiting and seeing what he brings to the table. Instead, some people just decided to hate him because they love the previous drummers so much.. it's hard to understand really

É impressão minha que a voz do corey ta muito boa no gutural e nas partes pesadas, porem na parte lisa ela ta meio estranha, nao sei dizer o que exatamente é mas parece estar mais fraca na voz lisa e muitooo mais rasgada no grave
