Tote/cross-body bags are such a boost for an outfit. Even the small ones that several content creators frown upon - but the main catch is how the STRAP adds more texture to your torso.
That said, fanny packs don't have that advantage. Can you think of any way to build an outfit around them?
Exactly! You definitely know what you’re talking about.
As for fanny packs, I’ve seen loads of people just hold them in their hand and let it dangle, but I would go for a more athleisure look if I were to wear them. What about you?
@@matthewoligane I've been looking out for them specifically and I've mostly seen them over the shoulder like a tote bag. So we're back to that effect of the strap.
If I were to actually leave out that option, I would probably wear it with a loose-fitting jacket, e.g. a shirt jacket or an open Hawaii shirt. That way, you kind of omit the impact that the fanny pack has on your silhouette from the side and mainly use it to create more of a divide between your torso and legs - similar to a belt buckle.
It fits in with athleisure, no doubt. But even there I mostly see these flat bags that also have a cross-body strap (but you wear them on your back, not sure what they're called) - do you wear those?
Yeah, I think they’re just cross bodies in general. Check out my Spring Lookbook (in my channel)! I showcase one in there and it was really useful on vacations/trips and went perfect across my body (in front and back) and also hand held.
