So damn true. Grew up at Flemington. Always with family and aunts, uncles and cousins.

For me, early years, it was pulling track. Mostly family. We all sat together, go home quick for "dinner break" which was 4-6 Pm, do chores, milk the cows, get back soon as we could. Always seemed to miss the 9,000 super stock class. 1 local guy only hooked the 9,000, never got to see him run until '97, because, the cows left October '96.
Time goes on, we all graduate school. All the farms we each had, gone, we got our own families. 1 went back full time into Ag/Industrial repair. I helped him built an Altered. You would think it would have brought all us "Kids" back together. Nah. I busted my ass alongside their dad many late nights, my cousin gets a bunch of shirts made. They strut around, "Look what we did, look at out tractor" tell everyone how they helped build it. WTF, all you did was give it a wash before the show. I was the one pulling late duty with your tired dad, so you could drive it, and gloat!!
IDK. Thought we were close family.

Mandy , Dido & Hugs to you & your mind🏁🥂. As I've sat there & been all alone at our sand box , many a time . Sit out in middle of entrance to turn one & face the finish line & really reminisce ,turning loose every ones proud ponies & pilots letting it all free under the green, like old flagers . Really feel the spirit & vibes back to opening day. Nothing like a real slow walk around on top of that track, soaking up the life & sounds echoing from the nite before 🏁, though it's only you & endless dirt road & empty stands , Souls of racing thunder VIBES . Very hard to accept there's a very very sad day approaching that's going to take all these pleasures & emotions & years of the loudest Happiness ever 🏁 away from our touch & eye site , strait into pure memory & imaginations of story telling . Never to be seen again . Reciprocating back to you 🏁❣️🏁

I think of the good old days and watching your dad when he was young and dozens of others. I also remember those we have lost who passed way too early on and off track.

I sure do. I even remember my two oldest nephews who are in their early 40's with the race cars on the ground in front of us at East Windsor Speedway. Where are all your friends now Mandee.
