Cloud only has 2 appearances of Gillis. Starmasters #1 (unidentified, it was meant to appear later in the series) and then a cameo with some other ex-Defenders in Fear Itself: The Deep #4. There was a Cloud entry in the 2011 Defenders handbook though (had new art done for it, depicted both genders). Gillis' origin for Cloud is an absolute butchering of a character. When I've (finally) finished the Presence one, maybe I'll look at her first appearance in Defenders #123 and then when she joined the team in the classic Assistant Editor's Month issue of New Defenders with Angel being crushed by a Mandroid on the cover.
Impossible Man is an instant no for me. That Punisher/Doom story is crazy in the worst ways. I never understand people who think Mike Baron was the best Punisher writer.
When Mike Baron turned out to be a Trump voter, I remember the assembled masses of comicdom (Simone and her sort) were bemoaning the discovery/realisation that one of their favourite comic writers Mike Baron was right-wing. If Mike Baron is one of your favourite writers, it says more about your writing than it does his...
Jesus, another silver age trope: the powerful, silly and annoying imp. DC had Batmite, Mr. Mxyzptlk and Quisp (he in Aquaman). Easily as obnoxious as the better known "kid sidekick" schtick (something for the SF fan, I guess).
Based on this, I wish Valentino wrote more Surfer.
Based on What If and Guardians, should've been on something bigger. Have him on Iron Man instead of giving it to John Byrne.
The title got me excited for a Cloud appearance. Wasn’t to be.

"CHRIST, THAT MAN IS EATING A GERBIL! WHY DOES THAT SET OFF ALL MY ALARM BELLS?"
I wish Dr Doom had killed Punisher in Acts of Vengeance. Now that would given the crossover some more teeth.
Sounds a bit grim and gritty.

Quisp came back in Morrison's JLA in a whole story about evil genies. I can handle a maximum of 1 Imp per fictional universe.
