Wow cant believe he talked about his moon phase secrets.. yall just learned 30 years of experience just like that.. be thankful he even talked about it..
Massachusetts Swimbaiter for the last 5 years. Paid attention to you, Tactical bassin, and Big bass dreams and the caught the biggest bass of my life, biggest bags and more fun than my first 25 years fishing conventionally! Thanks Butch!!!!
I could listen to him forever. He is a master and is willing to share his vast amount of knowledge to anyone that really wants to really learn it. Preach on Butch. Preach on.
Great video! My oldest son believes in catching quality fish. "Big ones only." Just jumped on the opportunity, and ordered a 250 and 175 for him. I like getting on big fish, but it brings me even greater joy when I see family and friends get on big fish! Thanks TW and Butch Brown for this!
Butch, I'm the retired varsity head football coach from Kennedy hs. Caught my first bass in 1958 at ten years old. I've been at it ever since. This is great stuff. Congratulations on what you've done and what you continue to do.
So funny I ran into Butch Brown twice at Lake Perris two years ago didn't have a clue who he was great guy greeted me ask how my day went and now I'm buying his Swimbaits 😂😂😂
I cringe at the thought of crawling a 250 through rocks like a wedge tail bait haha! Only the Doc! But will tell you, the hound dog has saved me at least 50 Hudds and Magnums! Great post TW/24/7!
Slung my 250 BB mirror trout on a 300 Calcutta with 20 lb Seaguar abrasex and it was gone on cast 5, it’s my fault. The bait feels way too heavy for 20 lbs, going to try 25 in the spring hopefully with better results.
Well done video Awesome drone in water and so easy to understand Great stuff With those baits Catch Walleye? What about those toothy critters Muskie Pike dot they chomp on that florocarbon and bite it off? No need for a steel leader Thanks again
I see you were at lower castaic (opening vid). In 1985 I caught a 20 lb bass one night from there on a 10 inch electric blue manns jumbo jelly worm....that lake was crankin out monster bass in the 1980s. You could walk along the shore line any day of the week for most of the decade (1980s) and see at least a 14 lber swimming around. The good old days 0:23
I just discovered these baits. Came across one on marketplace for 100 bucks. I know, I'm new to this but I couldn't believe they wanted 100 bucks for a lure. I lose lures that cost 10 bucks and I freak out😅. I'm not the best bass fisherman, been trout stream fishing most of my life, but seeing the action that these lures produce really makes me want to try something like this. I definitely can see why people catch fish of a lifetime with these. Anyway great vid, thanks for the great info and looks like you have inspired me to Go FISHING😂😂😊
Great stuff. Question: The Deps Dom Driver SE is rated up to 4 oz. I’ve heard that it’s underrated but can it handle “all day-every day” casting with a 250? I would hate to push it over the limit given the price point and scarcity. Very interested. Thanks.
them weights in the lips what we did as a kid an i am old man.we used a drill an put pencil weights in them.that is summertime way of keep catching big ones they just like a old man cant take the heat

You act like you're the only one that knew besides butch. 🙄

20 lb ande mono works great for me. Even on a bad backlash, it didn't snap, but the 250 flew right back at me at mach3
This was a great video to watch! The legend!
Glad you enjoyed it!

Big fan of the Shimano Tranx
Great video! Can’t wait to try these tips and tricks.
This is a great video so much info
Didn't realize how light of a line you use for the 175, but makes sense to keep the action natural.
Nice!!
da goat 😤😤😤
“When they follow to the boat, fish it fast, Either bite it or don’t follow me to the boat” 😂

Great info that I can use with other predatory species.
Glad it was helpful!
Nice vid
I’m not missing this one. I’m in big swimbait country=Texas.

That is an awesome lure. I'm going to get some.
You should, but don't hesitate too long, they go quick!
You’re the man!
Cool video
Stoked!
🔥
Moon phase is interesting. Muskie guys get bit at moonrise and moonset as well.
Always keep fishin
I love this bait for pike
Need one of these.
Great video and awesome bait at drawing big bass
Seems HUGE!
I’ve tried to get a hold of butch to get a bait tuned up by him with no responses how does one get a hold of him
“Kids, you’re gonna be using this crappie jig and bobber set up!”
The goat sold out, talking about an ancient bait that mo one fishes anymore
What hook set up do you recommend on the 115 and the 145 Deps Slide Swimmer
What split rings does Butch use on the 250?
Butch doesn't mention swapping any of split rings out, so we would assume he uses the stock split rings on the 250.
🐐
Is it better to remove the split ring and tye directly to the bait?
Great stuff. Question: The Deps Dom Driver SE is rated up to 4 oz. I’ve heard that it’s underrated but can it handle “all day-every day” casting with a 250? I would hate to push it over the limit given the price point and scarcity. Very interested. Thanks.
Butch what’s your follow up bait for the non committers when your in 15’ or less depth?
Can you give me a rod recommendation for 175?
Thanks
