    Hand selected rare NTE silicon transistors

    GMD, wow...not too many two knobbers sound that great. Is the Mojo Tone amp more of a Fenderish or Marshall base tone? I have experienced fuzzes through both with very different resulting sounds.
    Thanks!

    I just received this pedal in the mail and the tone is absolutely stunning and the clean up is like no other. Chris King Robinson is the man and the Texas Twang is also an amazing pedal.

      Pedal Pawn I definitely will do that for you. Your pedals are better than the majority of the major brand pedals on the market. Have you sent any pedals to Josh Scott over at JHS? He’s a huge lover of fuzz and recently met and interviewed Dennis Cornell. I can’t imagine him not loving your fuzz pedal and the home grown aspect of the company. The Pedal Pawn Fuzz appearing on the JHS channel would be a huge step in introducing it to a much larger pedal loving audience. Mike Herman is another great player with reach on CZcams. I’ll be sure to tag you guys on the IG page of JHS as well.

      Josh is certainly a top player in the industry and he has a couple of our pedals now, I’m waiting anyday now for them to be featured 🙏😍 I love his vlog on CZcams so much and can’t wait to see his video with Denis Cornell - as he is another legend in the industry! Thanks again for this support!

    I like the fact that when it’s maxed out, it still has a useable tone. Most fuzz pedals at max capacity just turn into a mess of shit. Gonna have to get this and the Texan Twang.

      James Wood it’s right up there. Almost identical. The clean up on this pedal is fantastic and I own and have owned many many fuzz pedals including Analogman. I own this pedal and this is good demo but to me it’s sounds way better in person.

      @@jordandangelo180 Hey Jordan that's very helpful about the similar cleanup of the Pedal Pawn VS the Analogman. How do they compare in overall fuzz tone? I absolutely love my NKT Red Dot but it would be nice to have another great fuzz if there's a big difference in tone.

    • @jordandangelo180
      @jordandangelo180 Před 4 lety

      James Wood Hey James... I also own a GraceTone FF01 that uses NKT’s and it has one of the best cleanups I’ve ever heard period. The Pedal Pawn has silicon transistors but it has a super smooth tone, but really powerful with great note definition. It would closer to a BC108-109 Sunface. The Pedal Pawn has NTE Si transistors which sound great. I would check some of the other demos out there if you can as they really show off the tone. The Texas Twang is also and incredible pedal too.

      James Wood the Analogman NKT red dot is one of the best fuzz pedals around. Incredible tone and clean up. Have you ever heard of the Sonus 1968 Jimi Mod fuzz? There is a video comparing an Analogman NKT red dot and the Sonus and they both sound pretty close. Check it out.

    Always some new guy with the Jack Black comment,- good thing that never gets old.
    Just became aware of this, and being like a jackal when it comes to Fuzz, hit the demos , wondering about the fuss and price tag.
    In 2020, good Fuzzes are expensive because they require particular, hand matched and assembled components, no longer made, and/or illegal to sell in some places due to health concerns.Generally, these parts are only available in small lots.
    Maybe my expectations are too high, but this does not strike me as competition to Analogman, Jext Telez, Reuss,- any of the "premier"makers, actually.Poor cleanup, and what sounds like the more common and inexpensive high gain diodes.U tube is saturated with demos and endorsements, almost never a good sign.Good fuzzes have always sold themselves to those who can tell the difference.Just a SRV reference, and a Blues Lawyer directed sales pitch.Nope.
