American cartoons have no fillers. Fillers are non canonical episodes used in animes to give the mangaka time to make new chapters but because american cartoon don't have to wait for someone to make new chapters of some comic book every episode is canon, even the boring ones

Think about avatar the last airbender. The Amphibia writers have MASTERED the Chekhov's Gun rule. Every episode feels like a filler, but still has elements that are important (like if you skip "Bessie and Micro-Angelo" you'll miss Anne saying that she finally likes what she sees in the mirror), and when a big episode comes out, it turns into Chekhov's Firing Squad

If Anne had been able to tame Domino 2 in that old episode, how helpful would Anne have been in other moments of the show like the battle against Sasha, when recharging the gems, or in the season 2 finale?
Let's see probably be a real help with Sasha since their fight was in the open, not so much with the second temple since bugs are also cold blooded, and the season 2 final battle was in doors so it unlikely domino 2 would be able to do much in tight spaces
