It goes great in Damia or anything where you're planning on running cards such as Recycle/Null Profusion where you're skipping your draw anyway.

Oh yeah, it's such a wonderful synergy. The temptation to build Damia is strong

For 2 mana, it's a strong card. Abundance is considerably stronger though, because even if you don't need the Elfhame sanctuary to hit your land drop, you can still draw a land if you choose not to use the may effect.

That is the downside, unfortunately. But hey, for a 2 mana difference, it's a chance I'm willing to take

Think it would be alot better if you could choose not to but then sacrifice it.

It is a may ability. You can choose when to use it. Also green now has plenty of great burst draw to compensate the draw step.
