I feel it for Hazara of Afghanistan. This people have brought so much medal from education to first Olympic medals and yet everyday they get killed or blown up by pashto taliban. Now that most of Pashtons are Taliban ,they embarrassed to call themselves Pashtons and they try to hide their identity and it is offensive for them if someone call them Pashtons because they support hazara they are also targeted by Taliban

Wow even as an Iranian seventeen years old and being one of the neighbors of Afghanistan I never thought that I will see Afghanistan from this perspective.
When I was watching the video on the main channel my mind was blown that Afghanistan is that beautiful.

My friend, The enemy is not Pashtoon , Tajik, Uzbek, Hazara, Turkmen or Sikh. The enemy targets the weak and destroys our people. Taliban is not Tajik nor Pashtoon. The day u understand this the day you'll be able to contribute back in a positive way. Peace 🙏😊

I'm watching this and just questioning what it is I'm doing with my life. Since I was 14, I'm 20 now, I realized that my life purpose is to help people. To help rebuild and build schools and communities. To help people connect with themselves. To help people feel safe, whether that's mentally, physically, emotionally. I have no idea what direction to take to fulfill this dream, this goal. I'm currently on track to graduate with a BA in Music Education and a minor in International Teaching and I just wonder if I am on the wrong path and think about dropping out every moment so I can just get out there and start helping people. I want to help.
Finish your studies no matter what whilst helping whomever you can in your free time. There are so many ways to help people, start with family, friends, neighbours, local community etc....
@@mundodesconhecido3373 I second this. Unfortunately, many a degree is necessary in many places where you don't even need it. It's an inefficient old way of society, this paper opens up lots of doors. Definetaly Plan the time to vlunteer as much as possible.

Hey Yes Theory. You guys should try make a sight on the internet where people from all around the world can donate to make this school together in Afghanistan. It can be called Yes school or whatever you's want. I was guessing like a Team Trees kinda sight. Just to help get better education in Afghanistan

As an Afghan thank you and appreciate that you have taken that risk and went all the way there to tell the world what is really going on in Afghanistan, The videos give the world a new view of Afghanistan. We know that the whole world sends money and helps Afghanistan, but since the money goes to the mafia, poor civilians get none of it. The rich get richer and the poor people get poorer every day and the rich invest their money abroad e.g. in Dubai, Turkey ...
the world must wake up and send no more money to the mafia or have to demand an account of every single $ spent.

We Afghans should wake up, nobody can or want to solve problems, the only solution is that we Afghans get together and decide what should we do.
Now some idiots who woks for others countries leads our country and they never want peace for Afghanistan.
Afghans are needed to be more careful about consuming those helped money, the way we are using it is wrong, instead of helping with poor people and making public-benefit places, our politicans are stealing that money and investing and caraousing on those money in abroad, so the only way to avoid these things is to be united and empathized. I lived in Qatar for 5 years. I only heard of the bad stuff going on in Afghanistan. I never realized how beautiful the country is. Hopefully I would be able to visit sometime in my lifetime, it seems like an amazing country to see.

I am a hazarah and I was in the city of mazar-e-sharif at the Same time
I was 10 years old and we fled to the mountain as Noor said I Lost my 9 years old cousin in the Cheharken,I saw lots of people dead besides the road because because of disease going to mountain
I left Afghanistan 20 years ago with my family .

He showed us the beautiful architecture and the kindness of the people there. I am so happy to be able to see this side of it. My heart breaks for the people there. The hospitality and love they show for people they don’t even know is beautiful. As Americans we often take for granted the easy lives we have. Even being homeless in this country is better than worrying about war. We need to be thankful for the freedom that we have here.

Drew’s videos showed really well how much Thomas grew throughout the around 2 weeks he was in Iraq and Afghanistan. He went from seeming very nervous and feeling not comfortable to feeling a bit at home and surprised to have learned many new things.

oh boy now the entire taliban knows this guy has a payday coming to him.. they have built their empire through the internet so I would not be surprised if they have circulated this video around. i just hope and prey to god they don't find him. you must be very careful who you give money to and maybe next time it is important you do not publicize the donations because now all of the world knows this man will be having access to money. i just worry for him. does anyone else worry this?

I’m sure Noor thought about that. But if he was worried about that I’m sure he would’ve asked Thomas to cut that part out. Plus the Taliban have billions of dollars in weapons and such, $10,000 isn’t that much in comparison so it wouldn’t make sense for them to risk their people for that
I’m hoping that he lied about where the plot of land he bought was just to throw them off if they see the video. I definitely want to help and worry about him too.
The world island video i suggested back in june. I posted about it on yes fam facebook page. Plan on visiting myself. But i was in afganistan in 2005 in the army. Agree with how welcoming the people were while i was patrolling and shopping. Crazy that so much more of it is shut down. Will have to get back one day while not fighting in the war.

The biggest issue in the world is inequality and inequality is rooted within the monetary system. The rich are getting richer while the poor are getting poorer. It's sad to think that 2% of the richest people in the world could do such a massive impact to help countries with communities like these, make so many beautiful people's lives so much more fulfilling. Yet they don't. If i was a multibillionaire it would literally be the only thing i would do - look for people and communities in need and ways to help as many as possible. How can that not be the most amazing thing to anyone, to see how your actions make others happy??

Too many of them have turned out to be true which is not a surprise when litterarly everything is controlled by the few richest families. All the damn media, any sort of information, what kind of studies are sponsored and published to the public. Everything. Their power to control what we think is incredible so who are we to think that what we hear from the majority and the main sources of information is the actual truth?
I mean the poor are actually getting richer but at a lower rate. So the gap IS growing. But everyone is technically getting richer.
