  • The rugged northwest highlands of Scotland provide a spectacular backdrop to the intricate myriad of sea lochs, isles, sounds and machairs that, forged over millennia, make up the country’s west coast. This part of the country offers some of the most breathtaking scenery, arguably in the world, in which the visitor can truly immerse themselves, and the fishing isn’t too shabby either.
In this latest instalment of ‘Angling 360’ we travel into Lochaber and try our luck in the shadow of the imposing heights of Biden Nam Bian, Beinn a’ Bheithir and the infamous Anoach Eagach ridge, who’s steep sides give way to one of our favourite west coast sea lochs.
Such stunning surroundings demand some equally stunning fish, so there really is no better place to try our luck at a Wrasse Grand Slam. The challenge is simple: Catch all five species of Wrasse in one single session… Easy!
