Juicy FYI for ya: That scene where Boba is attacking those thugs at that bar.....that's Tosche Station that Luke mentions wanting to go to in A New Hope. That couple are Camie and Fixer, Luke's friends. This set is an exact duplicate of the one used in the original film but, of course, those scenes were cut from the final edit. If you have time, if you haven't already, check out the deleted scenes of A New Hope. You really get to meet Biggs, Luke's best friend, who only shows up at the end of the original film. Keep up the great work and May the Force be with You!
10:36 I love the interview where Temuera admitted "Like a Bantha" is an easier and shorter sentence to write to fans when they give him prints to sign. 🤣
Those two people Boba helped out from that gang when he got the speeder bikes are actually old friends of Luke Skywalker. They were seen in a deleted scene of A New Hope. Also, you technically saw the Pykes in live action in Solo, when they went to the spice mines of Kessel. That scary wookie is actually from Star Wars comics.
The wookie is a popular bounty hunter named black Krrsantan. He’s actually fought Kenobi before in the comics on tatooine. He was a gladiator before he turned bounty hunter.
This might be my favorite episode in the season. The train sequence was amazing, and diving into the culture and traditions of the Tuskens was really cool.
People will point to Chapters 5+6 as the best episodes of the series, but this is my favorite episode **about Boba**. His confrontation with the Hutt Twins and Krrsantan (a popular character from the Darth Vader comics) is fun but the flashback is my favorite portion. I appreciated how it continues to show he deadly he is without his armor when he takes out the biker gang and then helps the Tuskens stop the train (that female Tusken warrior is a badass too). Beyond that I love how he earned his place among the Tuskens and they become a better surrogate family to him than any of the bounty hunters that mentored him as a kid but took him down a dishonorable path and would often betray him (ie Aurra Sing and Cad Bane).
The really cool black wookiee is Krrsantan is from the star wars comics. Not the non-canon Legends ones, but the Disney Canon, which all these shows align with. So he and Boba Fett actually did a job together before. That's why he immediately knew him as a Gladiator. Krrsantan was a Gladiator who was the subject of experiments and became quite the badass bounty hunter. He's super cool, and has fought Chewbacca before.
I like how the Tusken lizard journey to get their sticks is similar to the Jedi journey to get their Kyber Crystals. Makes you realize that no matter how different all the cultures across the Galaxy are, they are all being guided by the force in some way (even if it isn’t always as obvious)
the wookie is from the comics and he's super cool. He went toe to toe with Obi-wan on Tatooine as well as beating Chewbacca in a fight. One of the best bounty hunters for sure I'm so glad he's in live action
As someone who’s been watching Star Wars from birth, It’s been such a great journey from New Hope, seeing you knowing nothing, to being able to identify the Pikes after a quick glance.
The "Badass Wookie" you saw is Black Krsantan, and he has actually gone toe to toe with Chewie. . .and nearly killed him. He's a monster among Wookies.
Honestly, for me, this episode is the best episode in the show and one of the best episodes of any Star Wars media. The Tusken Raiders have come a long way from being these savage "sand people" with no humanity, disrespected by everyone and anyone. Seeing them and Boba learn from each other and getting me to root for them as they fought an invading force that gives more context for why they're usually so violent to outsiders as well as more nuance to their tribes and culture throughout. Honestly, this episode was so good that I feel like later episodes undermined it. I would watch a show that was just this.
This series has such a unique flavor and I enjoyed every slightest bit of it from beginning to end, because it has deep character development as well as very enternaing, fun, and well made set piece or action scenes. It introduces to various new stuffs or develop on things we new just a little ; also has some pretty intense moments, emotions... Love it. And it's really cool to see you discover it and react to it, bro ! Glad to see that you enjoy it a lot and appreciate what they did with the show :) PS: This baddass wookiee, Black Krrsantan or simply Krrsantan (a.k.a. BK, Santy or Black K) has a rich history. He is a renowned and always very fierced bounty hunter, who at this point in the story is as you can see a gladiator at the service of the Hutt family... He is a beloved character by the Star Wars fanbase, so it's awesome to see him live action !
Black Kryssantan, the bad-ass wookie, is the character who came straight fro the comics. If you look closely you may see a scar over his right eyebrow where he was injured by a light saber (not going to spoil how that happened unless you really want to know - can send you a link to a comic book cover).
You were asking if we'd seen Boba with the Tusken Gaffi Stick weapons- we did indeed! Go back and watch that Mandelorian episode again to see Boba bust open some Stormtrooper helmets with it!
I loved this episode so much when I first watched it. That ending dance ritual with the music gives me chills every time I see it! Such a fascinating aspect of the Tusken Raiders that I really appreciated seeing. They were always portrayed as an evil race but it's cool to see more of the culture and how they survive. Love this show! A lot of people didn't enjoy this show because Boba "wasn't a savage guy" but he is. He's just clearly grown a lot through life experience! It can be quite boring for me personally if characters are one dimensional.
Yeah, I can relate to what you say about the Tusken Raiders. Back when I saw the movies, the sandpeople were nothing more than secondary antagonists to me, some barbaric maniacs who travel the desert and will kill and raid everyone they come across (or who come across them). It's fascinating to learn more about them and see stuff from their perspective. It also casts a darker shadow on what Anakin did to them, cause they apparently are not "like animals". Also a bit trivia for you about the badass Wookiee: his name's Black Krrsantan and he's a character from some Star Wars comics. He is a former Gladiator, now bounty hunter worked under Jabba, once under Darth Vader and even once fought Obi-Wan Kenobi - who gave him the scar-tissue above his eye - so yeah he is as badass as he looks. One thing you should know about Wookiees is, that they usually stay on their homeworld with their families and tribes, so it's unusual for them to become bounty hunters or smugglers who travel the galaxy. As you know in Chewbaccas case, he got enslaved by the empire and only didn't return to Kashyyk cause he became friends with Han. Krrsantan on the other hand had to leave Kashyyk cause he is an Outcast. In Wookiees society honor plays a big role and they have one specific holy rule they can't break. Wookiees have retractable claws like cats, which they developed in their evolution to climb the high trees on their planet and escape large predators that live on the ground. So those claws are only meant for climbing trees and are part of the reason why they have such a strong bond with their forests. That's why they aren't allowed to EVER use these claws for anything else, especially not in combat to hurt or kill anybody. That's basically what Krrsantan did and why he got cast out, which tells you how ruthless that guy is.
Black Krrsantan is the Wookie and don’t underestimate him he is Badass he actually has an eye scar from going toe to toe with Obi Wan Kenobi. Another banger primate keep it up bro.
I loved getting to know the Tuskans! We didn’t really know much about them before, but Boba Fett showed us just how legendary they are. Watching him go from their prisoner to a member of their tribe was such an epic thing! He got an amazing mentor and one heck of a new family.
Not sure if you’ve seen Solo: A Star Wars Story, but the Pikes were in that. Qira “sells” Han and Chewie to the Pikes on Kessel before they break loose and steal the coaxium. The Pikes were also in Clone Wars. They were part of Maul’s plot to take over Mandalore. They were the ones that showed up and joined willingly after Savage beheaded the Black Sun leadership, the Hutts were also forced into that alliance.
Alright, so the wookie is Black Krazaton, he's from the comics. Also the scene where Boba fights the biker gang takes place in a bar from a the deleted scene of a New Hope.
Boba was wearing this when he showed up at the end of the Martial episode in the Mandalorian and wrecked the Stormtroopers with the staff in the Tragedy episode
The Mandalorian takes place 5 YEARS after Return of the Jedi (Episode 6). So if we asume Boba left Tatooine for the first time in that episode of the Mandalorian in the mountain. Boba spent 5 years with the tusken.
18:19 _"Have we seen him with this current day?"_ ⚫ Dude, if the scene¹ isn't burned into your brain where he's absolutely wrecking Stormtroopers with it, then _you definitely need to rewatch it!_ 😁 ··•●✺●•·· ¹ ─ S02E06 aka _Chapter 14: The Tragedy_
Glad to see Primate enjoying this episode. So much lore to unpack. It felt very "Last Samurai" to me with learning the language, culture, fighting style, and ending with making a weapon.
This is my favorite Boba episode! I need a funko pop of the female tusken warrior. Like a bantha! Btw, yes he did have the tusken gaffy stick when he showed up in Mando.
A little timeline explanation: There are 30 years between Return of the Jedi and The force awakens Mandalorian takes place about 5-6 years after ROTJ. The flashback scenes take place BEFORE Boba’s episode in Mandalorian. And likely only a few months to a year after Return of the Jedi The regular time episodes take place after the season 2 finale of Mandalorian. Currently this show is the latest we’ve been in the timeline aside from Resistance and the Sequels (and maybe the Rebels finale since no one is exactly sure when that takes place)
Also, the man and woman in the bar in the flashback are friends of Luke's that I believe were in a deleted scene or something from A New Hope. At least the characters are since if it was a deleted scene, the actors would be old now
@ItsAPrimate The Wookie bounty hunter with Jabba's twin cousins, his name is Black Krrsantan. Black Krrsantan is a badass bounty hunter/gladiator in the Star Wars Legends comics.
The main problem with this show is that overall it just seems to be really unstructured and going nowhere, but with expectations in check and only focusing on the present there's still plenty of moments to enjoy.
There were to many hands in the pot with Filoni and crew trying to keep it true to Star Wars and Kennedy and Rodriguez trying to make it more like her Sequel movies.
6:51 That Wookieeee is black krrsantan. He used to work with boba and he fought Obi-Wan. Both of those stories are from the books. I haven't read them but I've heard about it.
like a Bantha ,, became a huge meme it's everywhere , I don't know how you avoid that one...lol Some of them are hilarious ... Especially when they mix it with other stuff ....but I still think Ewan McGregor talking about sea otters is probably my favorite meme.. Funny stuff When they mix it with Star Wars and Obi-Wan moments..
If you're enjoying the Tuskien stuff then you should definitely play KOTOR if you haven't already. One of my fav parts is on Tatooine: you can make the choice to treatise with the Tuskiens' instead of engaging in war with them, and after that you can either choose to keep a super valuable item for yourself or give it to the Tuskien Chieftain, and if you choose the latter you have the opportunity to learn all about their entire history. But you still gotta be careful what questions you ask cause diplomacy is dicey. But I love that so much. You get no material gain from making that decision. You just make the choice to give back to an indigenous people and learn about their history.
Oh, Primate! I'm loving that you're digging this series! I loved it so much on first watch! Some people just can't get their heads around flashbacks to fill in the blanks... but obviously you and I can! I'm so looking forward to the rest of your reactions to this show! Edit: at the 2:00 mark, the prisoner says "E, chu tah!" which is the same exact insult the silver protocal droid says to C-3PO on Bespin in Episode V...... Don't know if you caught that or not.
I LOVE this episode, it might be one of my favorites. There were definitely some opinions that these first few episodes were too slow, but I loved seeing all the Tatooine worldbuilding, and learning more about Tusken culture. I also love the whole concept of Boba going on this weird ass spirit journey (the tree is also special because the vision is meant to also hint at Tatooine's past as a watery planet), dealing with his issues/trauma from his youth, and all of that. I think for Temeura Morrison this was also a really important arc because of his own Maori heritage which does have a history of dealing with colonialism, and so the fact that he is enforcing the Tuskens' ancestral right to the Dunes is significant. The song 'The Ultimate Boon' (that plays during the montage) is also one of my all time favorite pieces of music in the soundtrack - it's such a powerful version of the main theme. I love it. (There's another in the next episode that is also awesome...) I'd like to think that there are different tribes of Tuskens with different cultures/practices. Perhaps the tribe that kidnapped Shmi and tortured her (which was part of their own rituals) is a different, more brutal one. Wheras these ones (and the ones we see in the Mandalorian) seem a little more willing to interact with others (as long as they are shown respect). As for his gaffi stick, yes, we do see him totally wrecking shop in the episode of Mando where they fight on Tython. (I'm sure people will also geek out about Tosche Station - my favorite deep cut, as they recreated the set from a deleted scene - and Black Krrsantan :) )
It was cool to see Krrsantan (the black wookie) in this show. Already knew him from the comics as someone who you really don't want to mess with. Strong as Chewbacca but a lot less friendly.
@ItsAPrimate As you know, there are many criminal organizations and syndicates out there in the Galaxy, founded before the Clone Wars and are still around even after the fall of the Empire. These major galactic mafias here make the top five: - The Hutt Cartel. - The Pyke Syndicate. - The Black Sun. - Crimson Dawn. - The Crymorah Syndicate.
The Mandalorian takes place 5 years after Return of The Jedi (Ep 6). And The Force Awakens (Ep 7) takes place 30 years after Return of The Jedi. So there is a massive time jump between those trilogies.
Thanks, Primate! 🏜 Learning of the Tusken culture (they weren't all raiders) was a true highlight for me. The parallels to Indigenous peoples on our own planet resonate deeply. #ItsAPrimate #StarWars #StephGreen #TheBookOfBobaFett
We saw the Pykes in live action in Solo: A Star Wars Story. Other than that and this, they have only appeared in animated form. And their design differs from animated to live action, mostly because they first time they ever appeared was in animated form (Clone Wars), and it is more difficult to make a live action version of something from animated form, rather animate something from live action form.
Hey Primate, I’m currently making an epic playlist of every Star Wars video you did in timeline order for many fans to watch. So far it’s from Episode 1 to Rebels S2. It’s on my private atm but when I get up there I’ll let you know via comments or instagram. It’s makes for a great watch to be honest!
16:35 Primate knows about the forbidden toad DMT😂 Crazy ass psychedelic This is probably my favorite episode of the show. I wish I could say it’s only up from here like Breaking Bad, but there’s so much better Star Wars content than this (coming from someone whose favorite SW character since childhood was Boba Fett)
the pykes Look somewhat different in live action ,not by much though , I liked this show .. Don't know what the hate is all about , it just get better with every episode... I think the only problem I had with this show is not enough episodes 😂 Would've been nice to get 12 or something like that same with the Mandalorian too short to me ,, after all Andor got 12 Episodes. And I think people didn't like too many flashbacks back-and-forth .. In almost every episode.. Just a different way of doing things I guess
Throughout witnessing this episode, it seem to show some way of “Phoenix style” of Boba being reborn from being dead in the Pitt till growing into a bada$$ character with the skills learned from the Raiders. 😏 A little Easter for your time Prime, the raider that help train Boba is a female raider that seems rare to see on any screen out there.
Respect to you and at least you enjoyed it, but I I HATED what they did with the Tusken Raiders. Hollywood cannot let us have a group of people who are just bad anymore. We’ve long known Tuskens to be the kind of amoral and bloodthirsty psycho who would kidnap Shmi Skywalker and beat her to death. But now they have to be some kind of an allegorical representation of indigenous people. The real indigenous people should be insulted. And making Boba care about them so much too and caring about what’s right and wrong suddenly. He is the guy Vader had to tell ‘No Disintegration.’ The series made him soft and goofy. The real Boba wouldn’t give a damn about the greater good or anyone not personally connected to him. He’s mostly apathetic and morally grey. Which is part of what makes him such a good bounty hunter. The series had so much potential and it was all wasted.
Also Krrsantan is from the Vader comics
Dope facts for sure! I wondered about this station for years! Now I know there is old footage of the location! Kudos
Holy shit how did i never notice that
10:36 I love the interview where Temuera admitted "Like a Bantha" is an easier and shorter sentence to write to fans when they give him prints to sign. 🤣
I He also said that, "like a bantha was said as a joke "but to his shock they kept it in the episode.
I love how much this series humanizes the Tuskans beyond being just "The Sandpeople"
And beyond just being monstrous raiders, that just mindlessly attack people
Knights of the old republic did it 20 years ago
Those two people Boba helped out from that gang when he got the speeder bikes are actually old friends of Luke Skywalker. They were seen in a deleted scene of A New Hope.
Also, you technically saw the Pykes in live action in Solo, when they went to the spice mines of Kessel.

It turns out they’re fish people lol 🐟

17:54 Yes indeed. Before he got his armor back from Mando, that is the outfit he wears when we see his appearance in Mandalorian
As someone who’s been watching Star Wars from birth, It’s been such a great journey from New Hope, seeing you knowing nothing, to being able to identify the Pikes after a quick glance.
I’m so glad you’re enjoying this series. Boba really has benefited from all this character development, and he definitely still does badass stuff!
I love this episode so much, its one of my favourite star wars episodes of all time.

The Wookie bounty hunter with Jabba's twin cousins, his name is Black Krrsantan.

I love it. (There's another in the next episode that is also awesome...)
I'd like to think that there are different tribes of Tuskens with different cultures/practices.
I just wonder, did anybody ever fix Momma The Hutt’s door? Lol
As far as I know this Wookiee is somehow related to Boba on comic books
@ItsAPrimate
As you know, there are many criminal organizations and syndicates out there in the Galaxy, founded before the Clone Wars and are still around even after the fall of the Empire. These major galactic mafias here make the top five:
- The Hutt Cartel.
- The Pyke Syndicate.
- The Black Sun.
- Crimson Dawn.
- The Crymorah Syndicate.
This isn’t the first time we have seen the Pykes in live action. They did also make an appearance in Solo during the Kessel spice mine scenes
Man I love this series. Not quite mando quality but its really fun

The people that Boba saved are Luke’s friends from an A New Hope deleted scene
Boba Fett has the staff in the mandalorion
10:35 Probably one of the biggest Star Wars memes ever.
I can't wait until he watches Andor!
Happy to continue watching your Star Wars journey. Keep it going! There's so much good stuff still to cover.
Love this series so much.
Like a BANTHA!
Speeder Bikes are real now.
We finally made our way to Tosche Station

Yea the math on carrying the twins doesn’t math right …no shame on the twins
From my understanding, in case anyone was wondering, E chu ta is basically a not so friendly way of saying “go f$&@ yourself”
Episode 2 was the best in the entire season. I wonder what happened to the show it just took a drastic wierd turn
@@anujgopal3954 don't spoil.
@@anujgopal3954 yeah
Pikes were in Solo
That’s right!
One of my favourite episodes
Raise your hand, if you seen the like a bantha song 🎵 here on CZcams
Hey Primate, I’m currently making an epic playlist of every Star Wars video you did in timeline order for many fans to watch. So far it’s from Episode 1 to Rebels S2. It’s on my private atm but when I get up there I’ll let you know via comments or instagram. It’s makes for a great watch to be honest!
16:35 Primate knows about the forbidden toad DMT😂 Crazy ass psychedelic
This is probably my favorite episode of the show. I wish I could say it’s only up from here like Breaking Bad, but there’s so much better Star Wars content than this (coming from someone whose favorite SW character since childhood was Boba Fett)
Cool show
Waiting for BLACK ADAM 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Next week on patreon!
@@ItsAPrimatee thanks my buddy
the pykes Look somewhat different in live action ,not by much though , I liked this show ..
Bro peaky blinders trust me
If you haven’t already seen it, could you please react to the movie “shot caller”? Main character is played by the actor who played Jaime Lannister
I’ll keep it in mind!
Excited for your reaction to this show. Definitely one of my least favorite Star Wars shows, but still has some great moments
Throughout witnessing this episode, it seem to show some way of “Phoenix style” of Boba being reborn from being dead in the Pitt till growing into a bada$$ character with the skills learned from the Raiders. 😏
A little Easter for your time Prime, the raider that help train Boba is a female raider that seems rare to see on any screen out there.
Yes sir 👏
Please watch "Star Trek Strange New Worlds" (just one season with 10 episodes by now).
Pls start watching Vikings ✍🏼✍🏼✍🏼✍🏼✍🏼✍🏼✍🏼✍🏼✍🏼✍🏼✍🏼✍🏼✍🏼✍🏼✍🏼😘
Yeaah
Wait, this isn't Breaking Bad :(
Money heist?
Seen it off cam, loved it!
@@ItsAPrimatee oh nice! cobra kai iss great if you havent seen it. Keep up the awesome work ur content is like super awesome
