But it's still not like your natural hand. If there was something that you needed to pull yourself up on, pulling the entire weight of your body, you probably couldn't do that. You wouldn't want to risk pulling the bionic hand loose. The therapy and training to learn to use a bionic hand is pretty extensive, perhaps taking a year or two. Such a facility for that kind of procedure could be a long way from where some people live. There are a good number of YT videos on the subject. You should take a look at them.

Usually in cases where the hand is cut clean off like a sword slice or something is when you can go to physcial therapy after a weak but if it is a jagged cut like a shark bite usually the skin and veins need about a couple weeks to recover.
