Two things you should watch once the winner is declared for this season:
1. There is an alternate ending where the other person wins. There are quite a few differences in how things go.
2. The special at the end of the season that ties into season 2.

The girls probably kept Owen because they felt like he could help one of them knockout the other or the other. They couldn’t do that with Duncan.

So something you guys might not know is that I was a kid when watching this show when all the episodes came out and they actually let the viewers at home vote for who they wanted to win in the final five. So the winner wasn't scripted. They actually let the fans vote and then wrote the episodes to make the most voted for characters win.

The reason why duncan was voted off is because he was the bigger/actual threat. Owen is to much of a nice, not strategic and not athletic enough to be taken seriously. Which is the biggest reason why he hasnt been voted off yet
