    I purchased an oil filter from the dealer and they sold me the wrong one. Lucky for me, the kid at Auto Sone knew his products.

    I've gone through 4 O2 sensors that were covered in oil and the shop couldn't figure out why. I started doing some digging and found out my PCV valve was leaking oil and dripping onto the O2 sensor causing it to fault out.

      That's frustrating. Glad you got it figured out.

    What are the symptoms, and what kind of trouble were you having?

    • @JeepsLimited

      @moody-1984 I could here the valve leaking air. I also knew I had a vacuum leak because I had a slight vibration at idle.

    OEM parts are the way to go. Bought my PVC valve from Mopar Genuine Parts On-Line for $81.00. Still over priced in my opinion, but don’t buy from a dealership. They have a 200-300 percent markup on their parts.

    • @JeepsLimited

      Good to know. Do you buy it from a Mopar website or from another site?

    great but how do you get it to it with the t20 type bolt?

    • @JeepsLimited
      @JeepsLimited  Před 5 měsíci

      Same way. You just have to makensure.you get the bit lined up in the bolt properly so it doesn't strip it.

      I know that part. 2 hours later and still not out. cant get two hands in there. maybe a stubby ratchet, i will modify one of my older ones. Been a mechanic for ever and nothing so frustrating than some engineer designed crap. they could've put that valve anywhere on the engine. should be a 10 minute job

    What's the symptom of a bad valve! Should it blow the air in both sides? Mine did. The old one as well as the new one. Really don't get it!!!

      if you turn the wheel all the way to the left, and then remove the plastic wheel well cover, then you can leave the wheel on.
      just dont forget about the harness for the light before you go yanking on it

      @user-sv8mq2eq3z it's fairly cheap and easy to replace so might as well change it a little more often.
