In this vlog i’m looking at #MakeNine for 2024. A challenge held on instagram every year. I’m exploring what this challenge means to me. And what my ideas are. I’m also looking through my fabric and patterns.
I’m not going to link all patterns. As it would take too long. And a lot of my fabrics are not available any more.

Hi Anne, I. hope you had a lovely Christmas. I like to cut out a few different patterns at a time and then sew them when I have time. You have lots of lovely fabrics, I'm looking forward to seeing your makes. All the best for 2024.

Hello Anne, hope you had a lovely Christmas, sorry you are feeling a bit poorly. Some gorgeous pattern and fabrics, look forward to see what you make. I am always drawn to denim, I think it's because it goes with anything in my wardrobe. Maison Fauve have a sew along video, although the narration is in French the filming itself is very clear. I watched it a couple of times before I started and whilst I was sewing the Pilar. Happy New Year 🥳

Hi Anne, I am the same lots of fabric and patterns and haven’t got round to making them up. I have made the Kinder cardigan- it’s lovely but when I made it I was nearly finished and managed to miss out the pocket insertion. Don’t know how but I had overlocked side seams etc so did without pockets but really missed having them. ( it got gifted ) The next one must have pockets! - just a warning so you don’t do the same🙄. Nearly New Year so have been trying to finish / do hems on 2 pairs of rtw trousers that have been in to do pile for too long. All the best for 2024 when it comes. 🎉
Hi Claire. Thanks for your lovely message. Did you find the cardigan to be a good fit? So many patterns are oversized. I do love a pocket. I’ve just ordered some labels to organise my fabrics. Happy New Year.
