Aster Zipper Pouch Clear & Jelly Vinyl Version | Sewing Tutorial | JustynaTHandMade

I'm taking another try sewing with the jelly and clear vinyl. I mostly was successful sewing with high thread tension, but it still wasn't 100%. I decided to test a thinner thread, the Isacord 40 WT Variegated Polyester Embroidery Thread - Tex 27. Watch the video to see the results!

I use the Isacord 40 thread on my clear projects without issue. Both in the top and bobbin.

I just tried TPU clear vinyl for the first time yesterday and it was bunching up on the underside so bad. I'm wondering if that's what was happening to you to? I will definitely try this type of thread. Thank you.

Yes! That’s exactly the issue I had. I hope changing the thread will help you also.

Just curious if changing your thread allows you to sew 2 pieces of the clear TPU together or if your machine will only allow you to sew a layer of jelly and a layer of TPU together? (I like how your videos show you using it that way because mine will sew that, just not 2 layers of the TPU vinyl!) I have a Brother. Do you mind sharing what you sew on also?@@justynathandmade

@@hollylange3447 I was able to sew both options. That said every machine is different, so do a test run before you jump into a larger project.
