So she is singing about her grandmother and the wisdom her grandmother passed on, which was
Respect people and be nice to them, but remember that teeth are bones(Zambian saying) and can be used to bite- so she should be discerning about who she trust's
She should not be so taken by wealth and should not be envious of things others have. Then her grandmother says she will always pray for her, that life treats her well( kakelebalika literally means may it always be sunny)
The singer then talks about the struggles she went through to get to where she is, but these things were character building.
She shares some more wisdom from her grandmother, about how her grandmother told her she shouldn't wait for the drums to play( this is more indicative of the time when girls and boys who reached puberty underwent traditional counsel and ceremonies to show they had reached maturity), the key to success in this life is hard work. Forget all your fears and start your journey to adulthood/success. She further admonishes her to stay on the right path, even when hard times come.
Then the singer talks about how the people she thought had her back were the ones stabbing her in the back, but this did not surprise her, as it reminded her of all her grandmother had said.
Another Zambian saying she uses is mayo mpapa naine nkakupapa ( mother carry me and I will also carry you one day) her grandmother had raised her and empowered her and her plan was to share her success but the grandmother died before this and she talks about the pain of not having her grandmother see her succeed
