Carrier Reefer Supra S8 Alternator Tensioner and Drive Belt Replacement

This Carrier Reefer Supra S8 Model Alternator Tensioner had came loose due to vibration. The Alternator drive belt had been damaged.
The Reefer had failed the Pre-Trip test with an ALT code. That is an alternator code.
I had to pulled a used alternator drive belt, and Tensioner from one of our damaged Reefer to install into this Reefer, because all parts are back order, and will take 2 to 3 weeks to get here. Customer needs truck on the weekend, and we no choice.

Good video. It looks like it would be difficult to replace the belt on a supra unit with the electric motor attached to the flywheel. Mainly because my shop doesn't have an overhead crane.
