- Earthquake returned for another VladTV exclusive, where he spoke on a variety of topics. The comedian talked about snitching and prison culture before commenting on the Capitol insurrection on Jan 6. He continued by offering his thoughts on Black celebrities cosigning former President Donald Trump and engaged in a debate with DJ Vlad about Dave Chappelle getting 'The Chappelle Show' pulled from Netflix. Earthquake also spoke on Bill Cosby and R. Kelly before revealing his relationship issues. He also explained why he has not been in an interracial relationship with a White woman and said why he referred to Paul Mooney as a gay uncle.

Earthquake blessed my heart by not being willing to let Vlad stroke his ego. He acknowledged that Dave Chappelle was not just any other comedian. That is why he could disappear for 12 years and return stronger than ever....he did it on HIS name!! Being a “fan” doesn’t mean you know all of the facts.
Also, Dave Chappelle’s name is stronger than Vlad’s will ever be..that is why his audience’s consumer power can make Comedy Central reconsider the original contract. By one statement, Dave can reduce the value of the show to nothing. That’s business.

Here is the thing. Chappelle negotiated a contract with Comedy Central. He needed to negotiate a new contract with Netflix for the USE of his material. Nothing having to do with Comedy Central. Chappelle is right. Vlad is agreeing to do what rich folks do, exploit Black talent.

He's a white guy with a business and he feels threatened that talent, especially historically exploited black talent that has had little power, would stand up to big business and put themselves in a position to negotiate effectively and get more money, so as not to be so damn desperate for white businessmen to employ (exploit) them. White men hate you not needing them for anything, because you've cut them out of the money. They might actually have to go work somewhere themselves or become creative.

No I disagree, there’s a huge push for minority comedians in Hollywood. Just like the cannabis business they are giving huge opportunities for minorities to start in business. True chapelle is talented but there’s a lot of talented people that don’t get anywhere without that push or stroke of luck from being seen.

And over the years, Comedy Central made tons of money with all the reruns, no new Chappelle Show in almost 20 years. Then, Chappelle starts putting out material. He'd been in clubs, of course... but now, a deal with Netflix? Then put out specials? Of course, CC wants to capitalize on the hotness, the hype, the current popularity. They think that's fair, but you know what? Dave wasn't making anything on that, so why not force some money out of it? CC, the white guys, made all of this money off his labor. Now, they want to get more money off of his popularity elsewhere? No, they know they are greedy, and Dave used his market strength and knew his fans would support him by not watching. Guess what? Markets responded, supplier responds in kind. Big business has to play ball. Everybody wins. That's the point. We get to watch him, he gets his money, they continue to get buttloads of money. Justice.

2) He acted out the damn skits.
3) He greenlit the skit and the editing.
4) He picked Comedy Central to do this show on, so that he had some creative discretion, which he wouldn't get anywhere else. It's obvious, because there's always white executives who are not creative that come out of nowhere to ruin a show, or schedule it on some weird day of the week, or cancel it... they wound up ruining the show, by offering $50 million and basically turning the show into vaudeville blackface modernized. They didn't understand what he was doing. It's like laughing at the racism because of the superficial absurdity, but not getting the deeper satire and message behind the jokes. Both side had good points, but it’s a balancing act between two aspects of the past; what Dave brought to CC vs. what CC did for Dave. Given that projections don’t work the same way as retrospect, I feel like the Show exceeded EVERYONE’S expectations. Dave should be compensated by CC because of what DID HAPPEN, not what COULD’VE HAPPENED.
