    Perfect timing on this video, my 426 has some oil on the shaft and is spongy. Great to get a refresher and the holes on the rebound adj is a great idea. I'll have to go to oxarc to have my small nitrogen bottle filled, its cheaper than a shop in the long run. Thanks for the video and its nice to see Beavis making the rounds keeping everything safe.

      Your welcome. Yes surely sames money. Years ago I use to take them to a local shop that would fill them up for like 12 bucks then one day they charged me 75 bucks. Thats when I had to man up and get my own tank lol. I think Beavis wanted to attack me in this video lol. Love that little guy though

    This is great. I've been bringing an old 2004 YZ450 back from the dead and my next task is to rebuild the rear shock as it's leaking pretty bad. Got a Pivot Works rebuild kit and will be following this video to get it done.

    How to diagnose a trouble, how to test some sensors, ignition coil with a multimeter, wiring harness on a 4 stroke etc... It will be great 😊. Much love to you and Beavis.

    That nut grinding and nitrogen charging is what's stopping me from replacing my non existing bumper but I'm old and my shock is performing good anyway no jumps for my 😢

    • @UpAllNight91
      @UpAllNight91 Před 2 měsíci

      Yeah I can understand that. To hold you off you can always cut a slit on a new bumper and just slide it over the shaft. I have done that before to get by and it does work. Its not optimum but it will get ya by. Gotta remove the spring to do that.

    • @UpAllNight91
      @UpAllNight91 Před 2 měsíci

      Not much. About the same design for the most part. Yes they have changed shim stacks, shock shaft sizes, and stuff like that but as far as working on them. Its the same.

    Why don't you pean the shock shaft at the nut? It wouldn't come loose if you did!

    • @UpAllNight91
      @UpAllNight91 Před 2 měsíci

      Thats does work well for holding it down as well, especially if I knew I would never be taking it apart again. But the thread locker will hold it down tight and usually gets it done. I honestly wish they didnt make it where we gotta grind off the top of the shaft to remove the nut, but it is what it is I guess lol

    • @UpAllNight91
