Arguably the most naturally gifted actor in the last 50 years. He literally had Hollywood by the balls in the 80's and pissed it away. He had James Dean's good looks w/Brando's acting chops and off the charts on-screen Charisma breaks my heart to watch his career fade away in the early nineties but was THRILLED to see it come back with The Wrestler.. To this day I've never seen a better acted movie than the Pope of Greenwich Village..

You really feel Mickey's humanity through his acting.
He holds mysterious aura & energy in his acting that is magnetizing to watch.
Today "actors" sucks, only non talented clowns, mickey rourke is the most genuine actor ever, and your passion and charisma is unmatched

He should got at least Nominated for his Incredible Performance in Angel Heart! Oscar's Snubbed him hard that year!

This man is a phenomenal actor. Despite his self destruction and substance abuse, he remains right up there with the Greats.
The ever charismatic..............amazing Mickey Rourke. I hope we get to see him in more great movies in the future. That elusive Oscar should have been his, many , many times over.
His work in the 80s was astounding. Flashes of brilliance in Rainmaker and Thin Red Line in the 90s.
