The first song of the movie is so underrated. “Where you are” is a bop and does wonders setting up Moana’s character. The voice of her father is Christopher Jackson who plays George Washington in Hamilton.

Her voice is perfect for this, in fact, her voice is perfect for anything Disney, which shouldn’t come as a surprise because this amazing lady can literally sing ‘ANYTHING’.you should check it out, especially as you are familiar with the original, even if you don’t do a reaction to it on your channel, you must watch it just for your own pleasure.
WOW it's first time hearing this song in English version, I mean original version, because I watched this animation in Korean version only. Just for your information, Sohang covered this song in Korean version of this animation. Please check it as well one day. Thanks.

The best part of Moana is the singers hold up the song rhythms rather then the instruments rhythm holding up the singer. The instruments in this are an acoustic guitar, bass guitar, and some percussion. Let me know if I missed anything, there's no piano it was the acoustic guitar making those sounds at the start. Those tree leaves won't burn your hands doing it like that. It only burns your hands if you slide with your hands on a rope. The friction was between the tree and leaf not her hands so it wouldn't burn.
